T.I. & wife Tiny Cottle arrested for possession
by Jed Eckert on Sep.02, 2010, under articles

T.I. and his wife Tiny Cottle were arrested last night when police noticed the smell of marijuana coming from their vehicle. Doesn’t it seem like this is a recurring thing?!?
Law enforcement sources tell us L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over the multi-platinum selling rapper and his wife in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard around 10:18PM. Deputies say they smelled marijuana.
When searching the vehicle cops found a controlled substance. Law enforcement sources tell us the controlled substance was not cocaine, but rather the class of controlled substance that triggered the arrest includes methamphetamines and ecstasy.
Reportedly, since T.I. was on probation, this could violate that, causing the rapper to be sent back to prison. They both have since been released from jail on $10,000 bail. Also, both were booked on felony possession charges.
Stay tuned as more details become available.

She said, “Sometime next year, but we can’t really give a date yet because we have to find out when Tip is coming home. We’ll have to just plan around that, but I envision a fairytale wedding.”

by Roberta Ferguson on Jun.09, 2009, under articles
PETA head honchos are looking to ask T.I. to pose naked for their “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign, that is, as soon as he’s done with his prison sentence.
Michelle Cho has already written to T.I. in prison asking him to shed the clothes to help them shill their message make a difference.
PETA Executive Vice President, Tracy Reiman, says, “We’re asking T.I. to use his fame and his experiences to bare the truth about the fur industry by baring his skin.”
After the jump for Cho’s letter to the rapper:

by Roberta Ferguson on May.29, 2009, under articles
If you feel the need to write rapper T.I. while he’s serving his one year and a day sentence, then we’ve got his information right here.

On Tuesday, Clifford J. Harris (T.I.’s real name) entered into a minimum security federal prison in Arkansas to serve his sentence. He asked that during that year, no friends or family come to visit so that he could tough it out.
He does, however, want your fan mail:

Rapper T.I. To Serve Full Prison Sentence
by Roberta Ferguson on May.20, 2009, under articles
Even though it was said two days ago that T.I.’s prison sentence would be shortened to just 60 days, we’ve just found out that that’s not the case.

According to MTV, the rapper was given credit for 305 days of home confinement, but that has no bearing on his prison sentence. A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Charysse Alexander, says that anyone who serves more than a year in prison is eligible for a 15 percent “good time” credit, which in this case could cut his prison sentence by 55 days.

by Roberta Ferguson on May.18, 2009, under articles
Rapper T.I. will be heading to Arkansas on May 26th to serve his one-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to federal weapons charges.

He will be credited for 305 days of home detention and will likely serve only 60 days, as opposed to the full year’s sentence.
T.I. will be on probation for three years, following his release, and he has also been ordered to pay a $100,000 fine.
Before heading to the prison, it was rumored that he would be releasing a new video for “Never Forget”.

More Grammys Performances – Recap
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.08, 2009, under articles

Jay Mohr and L.L. Cool J took the stage to introduce Sugarland and Adele, performing separately (then together). I imagine that this might have been a last minute replacement for Rihanna and Chris Brown. What do you think? Either way, I couldn’t listen, country music murders my ears. Thanks for your understanding.
After the commercials, Gwyneth Paltrow introduced Radiohead. She sounded like she smoked some weed before introducing them. Were they backed up by a few high school marching bands?

The “Rap Pack” Performs “Swagger Like Us”
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.08, 2009, under articles
Queen Latifah came to the stage in a nice dark blue dress. She announced Dean Martin as the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Grammy.
She also introduced M.I.A., who looks like she’s about to pop. Her due date is today, so I’ll bet she’s ready any day now. Along with her, Kanye West, T.I., Jay-Z, and Lil’ Wayne, they all performed “Swagger Like Us“.
M.I.A. looked cute with her belly and her hat. Can’t say much for what she was wearing, though.
After the “Rap Pack” performed, Kate Beckinsale got on the stage to introduce Paul McCartney along with Dave Grohl (of the Foo Fighters). Paul sang, “I Saw Her Standing There” and it was good. It’s good to see Macca is still going strong.
T.I. Rubs His Junk On A T-Shirt For A Fan
by Roberta Ferguson on Jan.29, 2009, under articles
Yes, you can have “whatever you like”. And that includes T.I.’s t-shirt, but not without a “little extra something” first. (Editor’s note: I couldn’t use the actual pictures, so I used a Youtube video instead.) If you have the concert footage, though, please feel free to send it on.
T.I. was performing at a Vegas show when he rubbed his JUNK all over a t-shirt for a fan. GROSS. I can’t seem to say that enough. Ick. Gross, gross, gross.
Go here if you wanna see this nastiness for yourself. I promise you’ll need eye bleach afterwards.
What would you do with the t-shirt? Burn it? Ebay it? Give it back?
