Accused murderer Casey Anthony has been laying low, after being rumored to be hiding in Carlsbad, California. Reportedly, her lawyer, Jose Baez, has been negotiating with several networks in an attempt to garner the highest bid for her first post-jail interview.

She was acquitted of murdering her two-year-old daughter, Caylee, earlier this month — and since, she’s gone into hiding. Some of the major networks were throwing around offers for her interview — and the latest we’ve heard was an offer for $1.5 million. The networks were even clamoring to get her parents, George and Cindy Anthony, on television for the sum of $250,000 — an offer that they reportedly laughed at.

TMZ’s head honcho, Harvey Levin, took to his official Twitter account to dispense with the rumors that his company had entered into the bidding war. To avoid any confusion, he tweeted, “we reported the bidding for Casey Anthony is >$1.5 mil. they think TMZ bid on her. We did NOT, would NOT and will NOT. I think NBC got her.”

Since ABC has decided that they will no longer offer money in exchange for photo and video licensing for interviews, we figured they would be out of the equation.

Lindsay Lohan has accumulated a total of five mugshots to date, yesterday’s case being the latest. She was in court for grand theft over a $2,500 necklace from Venice store, Kamofie & Company.

Still, the jail is latching onto her latest mugshot as if her trout pout and new hair cut weren’t good enough to publish all over the world.

CNN Showbiz says that they’re not going to release the photo at all. They tweeted, “The LAPD will not be releasing a mugshot from Lindsay Lohan’s arraignment yesterday”.

Ugh. These people. We want the photo! Harvey Levin, answer us! You know you have connections at the cop squad. We’re waiting! Lindsay didn’t get her hair done and everything for nothing!

Last Thursday, Michael Lohan ventured out to Rancho Mirage, California to visit his daughter Lindsay at the Betty Ford Center. He was turned away by security at the door, after they informed him that visiting hours were over.

Now, TMZ has provided us with the photo proof that Mike was standing there on his cell phone trying to figure out if he was on a “no contact” list at the rehab facility.

Now that everyone and their mothers have jumped on the Lindsay Lohan Should Go To Jail bandwagon, we’re hearing that she might actually be catching a break. Go figure.

Reportedly, Lindsay is getting away scott-free on the drug test that she tested positive for, for amphetamines. Who knew?!?!

We’ve learned the second test Lindsay failed showed a positive reading for Adderall, but the L.A. County Probation Department is not recommending jail time for that violation — because there is an ambiguity in the paperwork that went from the court to the Probation Office.

The Probation Department is recommending 30 days probation for the first failed drug test which showed a positive reading for cocaine.

Now here’s where it gets interesting … Judge Elden Fox has a couple of options on Friday. He could sentence Lindsay on the spot to 30 days in jail for the cocaine violation … but because of overcrowding Lindsay would be released the same day.

Judge Fox’s other option is to deny her bail, throw her in jail and set a hearing that would take place 30 days later. Under this scenario, Lindsay would not be released early — she’d sit in jail for 30 days until her hearing. We’re told judges do this “all the time” when they want to make sure a defendant does the time.

I can’t wait. I hope she gets tossed into jail and has to sit there for an entire 30 days. It’s not likely, though. The judge may see her recent tweets about taking responsibility as a sign that she might be growing up.

I’m going to predict that he tells her to go to jail and then they turn her loose due to overcrowding. Celebrity justice fail.

Just yesterday it was announced that Courtney Love had lost custody of her 17-year-old daughter Frances Bean Cobain. Today, it was said that a judge ruled in favor of a temporary restraining order against the Hole mom, prohibiting her from contacting her daughter.

Courtney has taken to her official Facebook page to say this:

If Michael Jackson ever aspired to be a zombie, perhaps it is fitting that in his death, he has taken over the thoughts, if not the entire brains of most of the news industry. Since the first announcement of MJ’s death rumors to the time of this article, we’ve noticed that celebrity news website TMZ.com has posted a total of 122 stories related to Michael Jackson’s untimely death.
