Tony Dovolani Blasts Kate Gosselin For DWTS

Reality television mother of eight Kate Gosselin danced with professional dance partner Tony Dovolani in the tenth season of Dancing With The Stars. It has taken him this long to open up about his experience with the TV mom! That’s gotta tell you something, doesn’t it?

They didn’t do so hot and ended up in eighth place on the dancing competition. After being eliminated first from this season of the show with Martina Navratilova, he is opening up about his dance time with Paparazzi Kate. Ha.

In a new interview with Anderson Cooper, Tony said that there dancing time was so difficult for him that he had to seek the help of a therapist!

Anderson said that he felt bad for Tony for getting stuck with Kate and Tony replied, “I remember watching her dance, I’m still traumatized by that experience.”

He went on to say, “Wait, wait, wait. Anderson did you just call it dance? We didn’t dance! There was a lot of therapy involved.”

We were always wondering if Tony was embarrassed getting paired up with Kate. Now we know the answer to that one! Of course he was. She couldn’t move to save her life. Her dancing was just plain awful. Poor guy, he has our sympathy.

Martina Navratilova Eliminated On Dancing With The Stars

On the season 14 premiere of Dancing With The Stars, professional tennis player Martina Navratilova performed a nice Foxtrot with her professional dance partner Tony Dovolani.

Carrie Ann Inaba commented that she was beautiful and refined and that it was beautiful to see the transformation. Len Goodman said that it was close, but it wasn’t quite there for him and that she was too careful. Bruno Tonioli said that she never looked better and she was stunning. Her called her elegant and said that she had to extend her arms more.

First night scores:

Carrie Ann: 7
Len: 6
Bruno: 7

Total: 20/30

On Monday night’s episode of the show, Martina and Tony performed their Jive. Carrie Ann said that she loved the approach to the routine, but they missed some steps throughout the dance. She said that the dance was slow, but she enjoyed watching it. Len said that the dance was too neat and precise and it was still careful. Bruno used a tennis pun to say that Martina “got served”. He added that it happens to everybody and that she got off on the wrong footing, which ended up throwing off the whole dance.

Second night scores:

Carrie Ann: 6
Len: 5
Bruno: 6

Total: 17/30

Grand total for both nights: 37/60

On last night’s elimination episode of the show, we said goodbye to Martina and Tony. They were the lowest on the entire leaderboard, and was pitted against Gavin DeGraw in the bottom two.

What did you think of the results show? Was it the right decision to send Martina home first this season?

DWTS POLL: Was The Right Couple Eliminated?

On last night’s elimination episode of Dancing With The Stars, we saw the exit of singer Chynna Phillips and her professional dance partner, Tony Dovolani.

After it was declared that Nancy Grace and her partner Tristan MacManus were safe, it all came down to Rob Kardashian and partner Cheryl Burke and Chynna and Tony. In the end, that one sour performance sealed Chynna’s fate.

On Monday night’s performance episode of the show, Chynna scored 21 points, which was the same score that Chaz Bono and Nancy Grace received. In addition to that, she scored one point higher than Carson Kressley.

So why was she punished for having an off night? Should Chaz have gotten eliminated? Or are Cher’s fans hoping that she will continue to make cameos on the show?

So we have to ask: Was the right couple eliminated from the show last night? What do you think?

TAKE OUR POLL!

Len Goodman said that he thought they got the character right, but it went wrong and then she panicked. He said that there were a lot of mistakes.

Bruno Tonioli said that she lost the plot. He commented that she wanted it so badly, but she lost the plot.

Carrie Ann Inaba said that she lost her place, but she didn’t lose her composure.

Carrie Ann: 7

Wendy Williams pleased to leave Dancing With The Stars

After scoring only fifteen points on Monday night’s Dancing With The Stars, talk show host Wendy Williams and her partner Tony Dovolani were sent packing last night.

And you would think that she would be upset that she got eliminated so quickly in the competition? Think again!

In a new interview, she said, “I don’t feel like I deserved any of the scores that I got, but still I am ironically pleased to be going home. I have neglected personally my ten-year-old son. I have a twelve-year marriage and I’ve got a talk show that demands my attention.”

Still, she’s happy to have learned how to stand straight from Tony. She added, “As a woman of a particular age, it’s going to help me as I approach osteoporosis. This was a fun experience, but I think it’s time for me to go home.”

Dancing With The Stars week two recap 3/28/10

Dancing With The Stars is back for week two and they all have another chance to make good scores due to the fact that no one was eliminated last week!

Dancing first were Sugar Ray Leonard and Anna Trebunskaya, doing the Jive. Len commented that Sugar Ray was in jeopardy already. Bruno said that it was too soft around the edges. They scored 17 points.

Dancing next were Kendra Wilkinson and Louis Van Amstel, doing the Quickstep. Len commented that her posture was a bit hit and miss. Overall, there was improvement over last week. They scored a total of 19 points.

Up next on the dance floor were Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas, dancing the Jive. It was an entertaining dance, yet the judges said that there wasn’t much of a Jive to it. Carrie Ann said that she didn’t care for the choreography. They scored a total of 18 points.

Dancing the Quickstep are Chris Jericho and Cheryl Burke. His dancing seemed a bit stiff, but overall, it looked like he was having fun. At points, it seemed a bit effortless for Chris, which is a bonus. They scored a total of 23 points.

Up next are Petra Nemcova and Dmitry Chaplin, doing the Jive. She did a pretty good performance. Len said, “Long legs, bad technique”, but she “did it beautifully.” They scored a total of 18 points.

Dancing next are Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, doing the Quickstep. They did a good job, I loved their dance, even though it wasn’t my favorite song choice…Ha. She ended the dance with a big kiss for Maks! They scored a total of 20 points.

Mike Catherwood and Lacey Schwimmer are up next, doing the Jive. He was truly awful and slow and stiff — and that’s being kind. Obviously, this guy needs to stick to radio. They scored a total of 17 points.

Dancing next are Romeo and Chelsie Hightower, doing the Quickstep. They looked cute and a little disconnected. He looked like he was about to mess up at any minute. They scored a total of 23 points.

Next up are Wendy Williams and Tony Dovolani doing the Quickstep. This dance wasn’t very quick, considering that it’s a Quickstep. Too many props, too, in my opinion. They scored a total of 17 points.

Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff danced the Jive next. They did really well, the dance was fast and fun! He’s 49 and he’s dancing like he’s 20. You go, Karate Kid! They scored a total of 21 points.

Hines Ward and Kym Johnson danced the Quickstep next. They did decent, but not spectacular. I can see him doing better in a ballroom styled dance, instead of something that was supposed to be so fast. They scored a total of 23 points.

Who are you rooting for???

Kate Gosselin busted a foul move on last night’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, scoring a lowly 15 points.

She danced a paparazzi infused theme, appropriately, to Lady Gaga’s song, “Paparazzi”. What was so foul was the dance itself. Seriously, her outfit was hooker-ish and not to mention that makeup. Really, please don’t mention it, I’m still scarred.

Check out her performance, after the jump! (continue reading…)

Kate Gosselin really can’t dance to save her life. She appeared hard to teach on last night’s episode of Dancing With The Stars and even her partner, Tony Dovolani, tried quitting the show over her drama.

They were trying to practice their dance for last night, the Jive, when Kate threw an epic hissy fit. He walked out, saying, “I quit” and she said she didn’t get it. I get it. You’re acting like a whiney baby.
