True Blood Casts Giles Matthey As Fairy Claude (Photo)
by Jessica LeFevre on Jan.23, 2012, under articles

Spoiler alert!
The fifth season of True Blood will feature a recurring role of Claudine’s fairy brother, Claude. Now, we are happy to announce that the show has found their Claude — and it will be portrayed by Giles Matthey!
Reportedly, when the show returns this summer, Claude will draw the attention of vampire baby, Jessica! We all know how much vampires love them some fairies, so we’re not surprised. Besides that, he’s super cute and British!
In the books, Claude is described as “the nephew of Sookie’s half-human/half-fairy grandfather, Fintan, and cousin to Sookie’s father … He makes an impact on all women and is described as being absolutely breathtaking … He started out as a stripper at Hooligans, a club in Monroe, which he later becomes owner of, and has branched out to print and runway modeling … Women usually say ‘wow’ when they see him, but his interest is men.”
So Jessica will fall for him, but I wonder if the show’s writers will continue with the premise that he’s only into guys? Can you see Jessica falling over a guy just to find out that he’s more interested in Jason Stackhouse? Ha.

True Blood Season 5 Spoiler Roundup
by Jessica LeFevre on Jan.16, 2012, under articles

When we left the town of Bon Temps, Louisiana in season four, we had a lot of questions for the creator of True Blood. Briefly recapping the show’s fourth season, we saw Jason get raped over and over by the residents of Hot Shot. Also, Jesus died and Lafayette helped a soul rest in peace. Steve Newlin showed up on Jason’s doorstep as a vampire and Russell Edgington had been unleashed on the world once more. Sookie also advises Eric and Bill that she didn’t want to be with either of them….And most importantly, Tara lost a piece of her head, taking a bullet for Sookie.
So now, we’ve got some spoilers as part of a roundup so waiting can suck a little bit less.
In a flashback scene, Sookie uses her powers to embarrass some bullies on the playground. Also of note, we’ll be meeting Eric’s sister, Nora, (aka another of Godric’s progenies) and quite possibly Debbie Pelt’s parents. Also adding into the mix is a possible role for Alcide’s father, Jackson. And of course, we would be remiss if we didn’t mention the addition of Chris Meloni to the cast.
Joe Manganiello has also mentioned that he wants a Sookie/Alcide romance to be written into the show. That wouldn’t be so bad, would it Truebies?
Dale Dickey will also be joining the show as Marcus’ mother. Obviously, she can’t be too happy that Marcus is dead and may want to exact her revenge on Alcide.

True Blood Covers SFX Magazine (Photo)
by Jed Eckert on Nov.20, 2011, under articles

True Blood stars Anna Paquin, Alexander Skarsgard and Stephen Moyer cover the latest issue of SFX magazine. We’re not complaining, it’s been such a long time since we’ve seen them on the cover of any rags. So, at this point, we’re going to pretty much take what we can get!
From the magazine’s official website:
When dealing with sex-mad psychopathic vampires, we find it’s best to put them on the cover. They only get angry and make a blood mess otherwise. We’re celebrating the twenty things we love about True Blood as it returns to screens in the UK, and having civilized chats with Stephen Moyer, Joe Manganiello and Kristin Bauer Van Straten.
The magazine also speaks on The Twilight Saga, as well as The Walking Dead and other nifty shows — jam packed in issue number 216.
In other True Blood related news, we’ve learned that Kelly Overton and Louis Herthum will be joining the gang in Bon Temps — in recurring roles. Deadline reports:
Overton, repped by Innovative Artists, will play a dirty, beautiful werewolf named Rikki who demands to know what’s become of the pack leader. Herthum, repped by Main Title and Progressive Artists, will play a particularly large Marine-type werewolf who refuses to bow down before the new pack leader.
Until the show comes back for its fifth season, we’ve got these handy spoilers!
Dale Dickey Joins True Blood’s Fifth Season As Marcus’ Mother
by Lydia Harris on Nov.10, 2011, under articles

If you were wondering if anyone was left upset at the fact that Alcide Herveaux ended werewolf packmaster Marcus Bozeman’s pitiful existence, then we’ve got some spoilerific news for you!
My Name is Earl character actress Dale Dickey — who knows a thing or two about channeling formidable, backwoods matriarchs (see: her acclaimed, award-winning performance in last year’s Winter’s Bone) — is joining the HBO hit as Annie, Marcus’ werewolf mother.
Powerful and respected within the back due to her late son’s position, Annie is determined to perform a particular ritual. Might said ritual involve making Alcide pay for whacking her demon spawn?
Are you excited to see how she gets revenge on Alcide? I can’t wait for the fifth season of True Blood to start!

True Blood Season 5 Spoilers!
by Jessica LeFevre on Nov.01, 2011, under articles

If you think that waiting for the fifth season of True Blood sucks, then we’ve got some scoop for you!
According to reports, the season five premiere episode of True Blood will show Sookie Stackhouse in a flashback scene from her childhood. Apparently there were some kids that weren’t so nice to her, so she uses her powers to embarrass her bullies.
Never too early for True Blood scoop. The season-five premiere of True Blood will have a flashback to Sookie’s (Anna Paquin) childhood, and we get to see her use her powers in a deliciously evil way to embarrass a couple of playground bullies. What did they do to piss her off? They don’t pick her for their kickball team! That is a wound that burns deep forever, kids…so be nice when playing kickball!
We’re still wondering if they’re going to cast Alcide’s father, Jackson Herveaux, in the upcoming season. Along with that, we’re curious about Eric’s sister, Nora…
Stay tuned, we’ll have more goodies for you when they become available. Until then, waiting still sucks!
Joe Manganiello: Magic Mike Has More Nudity Than True Blood
by Jessica LeFevre on Oct.21, 2011, under articles

We didn’t think it was possible, but according to True Blood’s resident hot werewolf, Joe Manganiello, his new movie Magic Mike actually has more nudity in it than the hit vampire show!
In a new interview, Joe said, “Everyone is pretty damn naked, and probably more naked than in True Blood even, if you can believe it. There are some dicey, dicey scenes in there. A lot girls get naked too.”
And guess what else?!? The movie actually has a plot! Who knew?!?
He revealed, “It’s unbelievable, and it’s so funny. It feels like Animal House. It’s hysterical, it’s like a great guy, buddy movie but it’s also got a lot of stuff for the ladies. It’s got a little bit for everybody. It’s hysterical, like laugh-out-loud screaming funny.”
When asked about the atmosphere on set, he replied, “Well, you know, it’s all kind of the sexy guys from their respective corners of the universe, but none of them take themselves seriously at all. So, it felt like spring break. We’re just like a bunch of bros just hanging out, you know, and just happened to male strip.”

Joe Manganiello Talks Magic Mike & True Blood’s Fifth Season!
by Jessica LeFevre on Oct.17, 2011, under articles

Joe Manganiello has already filmed his scenes as Big Dick Richie for his new movie, Magic Mike. He talked about the saucy dance moves for the movie, telling his fans how he got the stripper moves!
He said, “Channing’s on another level, dance-wise, but he didn’t necessarily teach us. We had some people for Britney Spears’ choreography team teach us our moves. Body rolls, some hip stuff.”
He went on to reveal, “Everybody in the cast can really move. They can all carry off the moves, but nobody takes themselves seriously. We had a ton of fun. It felt like an ‘Animal House’ vibe – just a bunch of degenerate guys running around, causing trouble.”
Now that he’s done filming Magic Mike, he’s focusing on playing hot werewolf Alcide Herveaux in True Blood. He said that he’s meeting with the show’s creator, Alan Ball, to discuss season five of the hit show and what he’d like to see happen with Alcide.
He said, “Alcide likes Sookie a whole heck of a lot. I’m with the fans on this one. I totally want to see them hook up. Are you kidding?”
He revealed that his mother is a big fan of Anna Paquin’s and she’s also hoping for a romantic storyline between the two. He said, “My mom loves Anna Paquin – she’s seen The Piano probably a hundred times. She would love to see that. But if it meant my mother had to see me naked one more time on screen, she probably would not vote for that.”
The show has also hinted at the return of Russell Edgington, played by Denis O’Hare. Of that, Joe added, “I love Denis O’Hare. Him coming back – it’s not good for Alcide, but it’s definitely good for the show.”
Are you excited to see Magic Mike? How about the fifth season of True Blood? Sound off in the comments and let us know what you think!

by Jessica LeFevre on Sep.26, 2011, under articles

If you haven’t yet caught up with the new season of the show, featuring Ashton Kutcher in his role as Walden Schmidt, you can read our official recap here.
On October 24th, Joe will appear on the show — but what role will he play?!??
Apparently, Walden’s wife, Bridget (Judy Greer) is hooking up with Joe’s character. Judy is set to be introduced on tonight’s episode. She’s the one who Walden was trying to kill himself over, after she left him. (Seriously, who leaves a young, good looking guy who has gobs and gobs of cash?)
