Ashton Kutcher Re-Signs For More ‘Two And A Half Men’
by Noah Johnson on May.14, 2012, under articles

Ashton Kutcher has decided to renew his contract with “Two And A Half Men” for the show’s tenth season. Ashton is reprising his role as billionaire with a broken heart Walden Schmidt after replacing Charlie Sheen as the show’s lead character.
According to “The Hollywood Reporter”, Ashton has renewed his contract for the show, after beginning the character of Walden in the ninth season. Reportedly, Ashton made a whopping $700,000 per episode for the ninth season of the show and will rake in $725,000 per episode for the tenth season.
Jon Cryer earns less than Ashton per episode, even though he has been a part of the show since its inception. We’re still not finding this to be a good role for Ashton as he is not a good replacement for Charlie.
Do they have a winning show with Ashton Kutcher in the lead? Or have you stopped watching since learning how they killed off Charlie Harper?
Ashton Kutcher Earning $725,000 Per Episode For ‘Two And A Half Men’
by Roberta Ferguson on May.02, 2012, under articles

Ashton Kutcher has just signed on for the tenth season of “Two And A Half Men” and his paycheck is continuing to grow. According to Hollywood.com, Kutcher will earn $725,000 per episode. That makes an extra $25,000 he will be earning as opposed to the ninth season of the show.
Kutcher took the reins on the show after CBS and Warner Brothers fired his predecessor, Charlie Sheen. After the show effectively killed off Sheen’s character, Kutcher came in for the ninth season as billionaire with a broken heart, Walden Schmidt.
Kutcher’s “Men” co-star Jon Cryer is reportedly expecting to earn an amount within the same ballpark, while Angus T. Jones is reportedly raking in $300,000 per episode.
The show’s ratings have dropped significantly when Kutcher replaced Sheen, but the network is also not paying it’s main star as much as his predecessor. Are you a “Two And A Half Men” fan? Do you still watch with Ashton Kutcher or would you have preferred for the network to make nice with Charlie Sheen?
Charlie Sheen Pokes Fun At ‘Two And A Half Men’ In New ‘Anger Management’ Teaser
by Lydia Harris on Apr.11, 2012, under articles

In the ninth season opener of Two And A Half Men, we learned that the show killed off its main character Charlie Harper. It was all because Charlie Sheen blew up at the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre. Now, Charlie is poking fun at the show in his new teaser video for his new FX show, Anger Management.

Charlie Sheen Talks Angry Rants
by Megan Lindsey on Apr.02, 2012, under articles

Charlie Sheen says that he feels as if the general public has forgotten exactly what was the root cause of his angry rants last year. In case you have forgotten, Charlie got miffed at Two And A Half Men creator Chuck Lorre for firing him over his big mouth last year.
Charlie’s meltdown inspired him to go on his Torpedoes of Truth tour, along with giving us handy little tidbits such as “winning”, “warlock rock star from Mars” and “banging seven gram rocks”. Now that he’s gearing up for his new show, he is talking about why he got so angry in the first place.
In a new interview, he said, “No one seems to want to remember, they all talk about ‘tiger blood’ and ‘winning’ and everything. But no one talks about what I was so upset about. They just want to talk about the special effects of it all. I won’t get into it now, but people need to review what started it all.”
Is he merely trying to gain some publicity for his new show, Anger Management? Why else would he be bringing up the past feud like this?
He went on to say, “The reason I stayed on it with such vitriol was…one thing: No one is above common courtesy. It’s part of my code. Some people put themselves way above common professionalism.”
He also talked about his new series and his hopes that it becomes a success. He said, “I’m excited as hell, and I don’t get excited about a lot of stuff. Children’s births. Game sevens. Anger Management. The dialogue is really smart. I have a prison group on the show that is going to blow your mind.”
He added, “I wanted to create an environment to work in that was what my dad called a playground of the imagination, you know? So I didn’t have that for a long time. I was working in what I call the quagmire of oppression. I just knew that whole time that this process can be fun.”

Charlie Sheen Tired Of Pretending Ashton Kutcher Doesn’t Suck
by Lydia Harris on Feb.17, 2012, under articles

Charlie Sheen was fired from Two And A Half Men for basically calling his former boss, Chuck Lorre a turd. To kick off the ninth season of the show, Chuck axed Charlie’s character and brought in Ashton Kutcher to play the role of Walden Schmidt. We’ve asked time and time again if the network should have just axed the show after Charlie’s termination. Does the show suck without Charlie? Yes.
When Ashton was hired, Charlie said that he wished him the best with his new venture. Now, it’s a whole new ball game. Apparently Charlie was using a photo of himself in his character of Charlie Harper to promote his new show, Anger Management. This has angered those in charge at Warner Brothers and they felt the need to send him a cease and desist letter over his use of the image. That didn’t sit well with Charlie and he decided to use TMZ to take aim at his former employers.
He said, “I’m tired of lying…I’m tired of pretending the show doesn’t suck…I’m tired of pretending Ashton doesn’t suck. It’s nothing personal…I just feel bad for him…He’s saddled with such bad writing.”
Have you seen any part of the show’s ninth season? Do you agree with Charlie that Ashton has become the victim of poor writing? Hit the comments below with your thoughts.

Charlie Sheen Thinks That Two And A Half Men Should End This Year
by Lydia Harris on Jan.26, 2012, under articles

Charlie Sheen was famously replaced on former show Two And A Half Men, after going off on the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre. The show killed him off on the ninth season’s premiere episode and replaced him with Ashton Kutcher’s new character, Walden Schmidt.
Charlie has said that he wished Ashton the best on his new endeavor, but apparently he has changed his mind!
In a new interview at this year’s NATPE conference in Miami, he said, “I don’t think it should go on past this year. I just think that people are there because there’s nowhere else to go. Yet.”
He also talked of his new show, Anger Management, saying, “We will not disappoint. At this stage of the game, to deliver a turd? It’s not going to happen. It’s going to be an absolute f**king rocket ship to the moon.”
He went on to speak of his former show, saying, “I don’t want to harp on them. Let the clueless stay clueless…I was a puppet there for ratings. But whatever, I don’t care. I’ve moved on, and whatever they’re doing there is none of my business.”
He added, “Hats off to Ashton for doing the best job that he can. I don’t think that he’s working with the best writing because [Chuck Lorre is] doing too many shows. He and Jon and Angus deserve better material.”
What do you think of his comments on the show? Should they give it the axe? Or are you still watching?

Two And A Half Men Review: Season 9 Episode 14 ‘A Possum On Chemo’
by Jessica LeFevre on Jan.17, 2012, under articles

Last night’s episode of Two And A Half Men, titled, A Possum On Chemo, revolved completely around Ashton Kutcher’s character getting a hair cut and a shave. Aside from that, Alan gets back together with Lyndsey after she breaks things off with a much younger guy. In case you’ve missed the episode, you can read our recap here.
Zoey asks Walden to cut his hair and shave his hippie hobo look so that he can be by her side at an office party. He agrees, but as it turns out, he was only saying that he would clean up to shut her up and stop her nagging.
When she arrives to pick him up, she finds that he hasn’t shaved or cut his hair. She gets upset and then says that she doesn’t care if he cleans up or not. This is when he decides to actually have his hair cut and shave his beard. He looks better and reminds us of Kelso in That 70′s Show.
Also, why is Jake spending his time getting baked? Is weed becoming mainstream for CBS?
Lyndsey was dating a 24-year-old named Dylan who drives a Ferrari. Apparently, he’s a tomcat in the sack and wants sex all of the time. She was tired of worrying about her looks and body in front of him, but she never had that problem with Alan. He accepts her just the way she is and she can fart in front of him.

Two And A Half Men Recap: Season 9 Episode 14 ‘A Possum On Chemo’ 1/16/12
by Lydia Harris on Jan.16, 2012, under articles

As we’ve shown you earlier, Walden Schmidt is getting a handsome, boyish makeover at his girlfriend, Zoey’s request on tonight’s episode of Two And A Half Men. Tonight’s episode is titled, A Possum On Chemo and we will get to see Berta whack off Walden’s bummy looking locks and make him shave – to make Zoey happy, of course. We were wondering how long she would put up with him looking like a hobo…
Zoey obviously wins, as we’ve previously seen when Ashton Kutcher debuted his newly cleaner look at the TCA press conference.
We’re curious about everyone’s reaction to Walden’s new look. Will Bridget try to make a play for him? Even though, now, he does look as young as his other Men co-star, Angus T. Jones. Angus is supposed to the “man” and Ashton is the half, right?
Stay tuned to this space for the latest updates on the show!
Two And A Half Men Season 9 Episode 14 ‘A Possum On Chemo’ Preview 1/16/12
by Jessica LeFevre on Jan.16, 2012, under articles

In case you hadn’t previously seen, Ashton Kutcher has cut his hair. Now, we know why! He debuts his newly shorn and shaved look on tonight’s episode of Two And A Half Men, titled, A Possum On Chemo. In case you’ve missed last week’s show, titled, Slowly And In A Circular Fashion, you can read our entire recap of the show here.
Synopsis of tonight’s episode:
Zoey tries to coerce Walden into cutting his hair and shaving (and apparently it works; Ashton Kutcher debuted a jarringly clean-cut appearance at the TCA winter press tour last week). Meanwhile, Alan and Lyndsey rekindle their relationship. SOURCE
Obviously Zoey gets her way with Walden, he’s a real pushover. I wonder how Bridget will react to his new look? I also have to wonder what she thinks of Zoey assisting Walden with their company?
Alan is also finding love with his ex-girlfriend, Lyndsey, even though he dreamed that she hooked up with Walden…

Ashton Kutcher To Return For Another Season Of Two And A Half Men?
by Jessica LeFevre on Jan.11, 2012, under articles

Now that Ashton Kutcher has settled in for his role as Walden Schmidt on Two And A Half Men, we are curious as to whether or not he is planning to reprise his role for the show’s tenth season.
Ashton reportedly signed a one-year deal with CBS for the show – so it appears to be up in the air as to whether or not he will be returning next season. But one thing’s for sure, he definitely wants to make a comeback.
He said, “I have a couple of features I want to do during the hiatus and right now I am looking at it as a hiatus. I’m having a lot of fun. I’m interested in doing more.”
The thing is, do fans of the show want him to return? There has been online clamoring about the untimely demise of Charlie Sheen’s character since the ninth season began. How the show’s creators failed to pay homage to Charlie in the beginning of this season seemed to draw the ire of fans.

Two And A Half Men Season 9 Episode 13 Review
by Lydia Harris on Jan.03, 2012, under articles

Last night, Two And A Half Men made its return to CBS after a short hiatus over the holidays. The episode was titled, Slowly And In A Circular Fashion and we saw Walden’s ex-wife, Bridget along with his mother, Robin, trying to take over his company. The company name? Walden Loves Bridget Enterprises, natch. Read the official recap here, in case you’ve missed the show.
Bridget and Robin ousted Walden as President of the company after voting 2-to-1 against him on the board. Walden reviewed the corporate by-laws with his girlfriend Zoey and found that he was able to appoint a fourth member to the board. So, he chose Alan as an ally to battle Bridget and his mother.
Robin and Bridget tried to sway Alan, one with money, and the other with sexual advances. In the end, it didn’t work, but Alan confessed to being super weak when Walden spied him pulling into their garage in a brand new red Porsche.
In the end, Walden got his way and was reinstated as President of the company. Alan returned the keys to the car to Bridget, informing her that it was out of gas. So what did Alan get in return for his vote on the board? Walden put his name on the deed to the beach house in Malibu!

Two And A Half Men Season 9 Episode 13 ‘Slowly And In A Circular Fashion’ Preview 1/2/12
by Lydia Harris on Jan.02, 2012, under articles

Two And A Half Men makes its return tonight with an all new episode. This episode is titled, Slowly And In A Circular Fashion and it airs tonight on CBS at 9PM EST.
From the episode’s synopsis:
When Walden’s ex-wife and his mother try to take control of his company, he tries to enlist Alan as an ally, on TWO AND A HALF MEN, Monday, Jan. 2 (9:00-9:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Judy Greer returns as Walden’s ex-wife, Bridget, and Mimi Rogers returns as his mother, Robin.
It sounds like it’s going to be a good one. We have to wonder exactly why Bridget and Robin are trying to take over Walden’s company. Is it because of the money?!?
Of course, he always has Alan there to back him up, so we’ll see what we’re in after the show airs. Are you still watching the show? Are you a fan of the new Two And A Half Men? Sound off in the comments and let us know your thoughts!
Chuck Lorre Comments On Charlie Sheen’s Firing
by Lydia Harris on Dec.15, 2011, under articles

Charlie Sheen was fired from the CBS hit show, Two And A Half Men, after telling his boss, Chuck Lorre, off. It was a tale that we could all sympathize with. Someone giving their boss the finger? We loved it — and we ate it up.
Charlie was actually on a downward spiral, which involved mass quantities of cocaine and hookers/escorts. After his tirade, Warner Brothers called time on his employment with their company. Thus, Ashton Kutcher replaced Charlie on the show.
Now, Chuck is opening up about his feud with Charlie. He says that they fired Charlie in an attempt to prevent him from killing himself with his drug use.
Chuck said, “This was not a game. This was drug addiction writ large. This was big-time cocaine, and in his own words, an epic drug run that could have ended with either his death or someone else’s.”
He went on to say, “When we would shoot a show on a Friday night, there was always that I’ll see you Monday. I hope. The holidays were the worst, because those long stretches of time were the ones we feared the most.”
Are you digging the ninth season of the show, without Charlie? Or now that he’s cleaned up his act, should they try to invite him back? What do you think?

I seriously hope that they bring back Rose and her shenanigans! Bridget really seemed to want Walden back, but he had since moved on with Zoey. Two And A Half Men Season 9 Episode 10 ‘A Fishbowl Full of Glass Eyes’ Questions
by Jessica LeFevre on Nov.22, 2011, under articles

We recapped Two And A Half Men’s latest episode, A Fish Bowl Full Of Glass Eyes over at our sister site, Tragicomical. Overall, the show was decent and we can tell that they are trying hard to move away from the jokes that involve Charlie Harper — for the most part. But, after the show, we were left with some questions — so we have them here for you to answer, ponder with us and perhaps even add to. Enjoy!
Why is Alan so pathetic? Seriously, it seems like he’s not working and only living off of the good graces from Walden.
Will Ashton ever shave and get a hair cut? He looks homeless.
Is Walden really stupid enough to bring up Bridget while on a date with another woman? Nevermind, don’t answer that one, we already know that the resounding answer is yes.
Who gives a 17-year-old kid a quarter of a million frequent flier miles? Does anyone else find it odd that Jake ended up in Paris? That’s where Charlie and Rose were before he got “hit” by a bus, right? Why would the writers drop Jake right by the Eiffel Tower if they weren’t going to veer back toward some kind of Charlie related storyline?
Will Jake end up going back to the scene where Charlie died? What do you think? Sound off with your thoughts on the episode – in the comments!

What did you think? Are you still watching Two And A Half Men? Are you an Ashton Kutcher fan? Or do you think the ninth season will be the show’s last?
Recap:
The show opens with Jake and Walden talking about money in a grocery store. Jake wonders why he doesn’t have his own person to grocery shop for him. Walden likes shopping for himself. Walden tells him that he has two houses and one yacht.
