Robert Pattinson talks about kissing on camera
by Lydia Harris on May.04, 2011, under articles

Breaking Dawn actor Robert Pattinson shouldn’t have too much trouble cozying up to his co-stars. In his movies, he puts the moves on Reese Witherspoon in Water For Elephants and Kristen Stewart in Breaking Dawn (and real life, of course).
Surprisingly, Rob says that it was harder than it looks! During a recent interview, Rob said, “When I kiss in reality, it’s so different than kissing on film. Immediately, you put a camera there and it’s like, it feels different. It’s totally different even though you’re doing the same thing.”
Luckily, Rob hasn’t had to swap spit with any of Hollywood’s trolls (yes, we’re looking at you, Snooki). He added, “I haven’t yet worked with an actress to do a love story who I really don’t like. I’m kind of interested to see what that would be like.”
Robert Pattinson disses Twilight?
by Lydia Harris on Apr.25, 2011, under articles

Is Robert Pattinson dissing the franchise that made him a household name?
During his promotional duties for his new movie Water For Elephants, he was asked whether he enjoyed doing publicity for that movie as opposed to the Twilight movies.
He said, “I mean, I guess so, yeah. It’s nice to know, you know sometimes when you’re doing franchise movies it feels like the publicity is more important to the company than making the actual movie.”
Subtle, yes. But a dis? What do you think? Is he trying to bite the hand that feeds? Or is he just merely saying that he likes the values of the Water For Elephants head honchos? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
Robert Pattinson’s terrifying circus experience
by Lydia Harris on Apr.18, 2011, under articles

Breaking Dawn actor Robert Pattinson says that he had a terrifying experience for the first time when doing his movie, Water For Elephants.
In the movie, he plays a runaway named Jacob who joins a traveling circus and said that the movie brought a terrible memory back for him.
He said, “The first time I went to a circus, somebody died. One of the clowns died. His little car exploded, the joke car exploded on him. Everybody ran out, it was terrifying.”
I bet! That had to be an awful thing to watch! Poor guy!
Reese Witherspoon disgusted by Robert Pattinson’s sex scenes
by Jessica LeFevre on Apr.14, 2011, under articles

When Robert Pattinson filmed his love scene with Reese Witherspoon for Water For Elephants, apparently he had the flu….or something like that.
In a recent interview, Reese said, “Rob possibly had the most hideous horrible cold of any co-star I’ve ever had to do a love scene with ever in my life. He was literally snorting and snotting through every second of it — and it was not appealing.”
She added, “I’m talking green, infectious, disgusting – I’m not kidding! I’m going to say it’s a little bit of a downer. I was a little disappointed. It wasn’t sexy.”
What did she expect from flopping around a 1930′s bed with a dirty Edward Cullen???
Robert Pattinson cried over his elephant co-star
by Roberta Ferguson on Apr.12, 2011, under articles

In a new interview, Robert Pattinson revealed that he cried over his elephant co-star, Tai, when they finished filming his new movie with Reese Witherspoon, Water For Elephants.
He said, “I cried the last day that Tai was on the set of Water For Elephants, and during the film, March Of The Penguins.”
He went on to say that he enjoys making movies with animals more than actors because there is less pressure. He said, “I think I have more affinity with animals than with people. For many reasons, I prefer working with animals and children than with actors. Often when you’re working with actors, it becomes something almost competitive.”
Robert Pattinson doesn’t mind working with poop
by Jessica LeFevre on Apr.06, 2011, under articles

Breaking Dawn actor Robert Pattinson says that he doesn’t mind one bit working with poop! Where did that come from?!??
In a new interview, he talked about working with the elephant Tai on his new movie, Water For Elephants. He said, “I don’t mind working with poop at all. I have a natural propensity to work on big piles of poop. I’m very familiar with it. I don’t know why I wasn’t grossed out by it, at all. Because everything felt so authentic all the time, you just accept it, as part of the world.”
When he was asked about his relationship with Tai, he said, “I think I had a relationship with the elephant, but it was based purely on candy. I strategically placed mints. I’d suck a peppermint for a bit, and then stick it onto my body, under my armpits and covering my entire chest, and not tell anyone.”
He added, “So, every single time, the elephant would be constantly sniffing me and I’d be like, ‘I don’t know, she just really likes me. It’s crazy!’ But I think she was just sniffing around for a treat.”
Too funny.
Robert Pattinson thought Water For Elephants role was small
by Lydia Harris on Apr.02, 2011, under articles

Robert Pattinson has revealed that he didn’t realize how big of a role he had in Water For Elephants until filming started.
He said he was stunned that his workload was much bigger than that of his co-star, Reese Witherspoon.
He said, “When I first read the script, because I didn’t have that many lines, I just thought, ‘Oh okay, I get it. I’m like the eyes of the audience. It’s going to be a big spectacle movie that isn’t solely resting on my shoulders.’ So I was very relaxed about it, going in.”
He went on to say, “I only realized about halfway through. I was working every single day. Reese was hardly ever in and Christoph only came in sporadically. I was like, ‘How did this happen?’”
Still, he hopes fans will enjoy the movie, because it’s different than anything out in theaters right now. He said, “Hopefully people will think it’s a good movie. I have a feeling that a lot of people will like it. I don’t think a lot of other movies coming out are anything like it, and when I was working on the film, it didn’t feel like anything else that was being made.”
Reese Witherspoon calls Robert Pattinson dirty
by Roberta Ferguson on Mar.30, 2011, under articles

Reese Witherspoon appears opposite Robert Pattinson in their new movie Water For Elephants — and since, she’s called him handsome. In a more recent interview, however, she’s now calling him dirty!
She said, “It’s a boy thing, right? To have dirty fingernails and hair. And his clothes were dirty all the time.”
Still, that’s probably part of the role he was playing, as he was cast as a circus vet. She went on to say, “It was a nice escape for him to be tan and in the sun all the time instead of the vampire gear.”

Robert Pattinson only works with hot girls
by Jessica LeFevre on Mar.21, 2011, under articles

Breaking Dawn actor Robert Pattinson has revealed that he only likes working with hot girls. He has already co-starred in movies with Kristen Stewart, Reese Witherspoon, Uma Thurman and Emilie de Ravin, but in a recent interview he joked about his preference of pretty actresses.
When asked about his co-stars, he jokingly said, “I like hot girls. I like them. I like being in movies with lots of hot girls.”
Seriously, he went on to say, “They’re all pretty different. They’re all very strong, actually. I always end up being in movies with very experienced and passionate people. They’re never just flimsy floozies.”
When speaking of his Water For Elephants co-star Reese, he said that he was intimidated by her at first, He added, “Anyone who’s really famous and really great, it’s always going to be slightly intimidating. But she has such a nice energy about her, and the intimidation is gone within the first couple of seconds.”
Robert Pattinson filmed Water For Elephants love scene sick
by Jessica LeFevre on Mar.19, 2011, under articles

Robert Pattinson has revealed that he was sick during the filming of the love scene with Reese Witherspoon for their new movie, Water For Elephants.
He admitted that his encounter with Reese wasn’t as sexy as it looked on the big screen, as he was working hard to hide his cold.
In a new interview, he said, “The love scene in this, I was doing it when I had a really bad cold. I’m not generally that awkward doing stuff apart from when I’ve got my belly coming out. But my nose is running all over the place and it was in one of the additional photography scenes, and Reese had this wig on, and literally, I was wiping my nose on her wig. We were doing this really passionate love scene. It was really stupid. I guess I’m not that awkward anymore.”
Robert Pattinson believes in onscreen romances!
by Jessica LeFevre on Mar.05, 2011, under articles

If you couldn’t tell, Breaking Dawn actor Robert Pattinson believes wholeheartedly in on-screen romances! I believe that, considering that he and Kristen Stewart were said to have had instant chemistry while trying out for their Twilight roles.
In a recent interview, he said that Twilight will “pigeonhole” him, but luckily for him (and us), he enjoys his romantic roles — like Water For Elephants, which he filmed with Reese Witherspoon!
He said, “Yes, I’m a big believer in onscreen romance. And these films are not for ladies only. Guys can appreciate romance.”
Water For Elephants is set to hit US theaters on April 22, 2011. Meanwhile, Rob and Kristen are currently filming their scenes for Breaking Dawn in Vancouver.

Robert Pattinson talks about fame
by Jessica LeFevre on Mar.02, 2011, under articles

Robert Pattinson is keeping busy filming Breaking Dawn with Kristen Stewart in Vancouver, but one thing he wanted to talk about is all of the fame that he’s achieved.
In a new interview while promoting new movie Water For Elephants, he said that he couldn’t get away from the vampire franchise. On that level of fame, he said, “There’s nothing you can do about it. That’s the way it is.”
He went on to reveal, “But it is weird being part of that, kind of representing something you don’t particularly like. God, I just really head-butted it. This thing with everyone knowing you, it’s weird, because people have this one-sided relationship where they look at your picture and feel they know you more than someone they actually know. I don’t really know myself that well.”
Is Rob finally sick of Twilight???
Reese Witherspoon talks about love scenes with Robert Pattinson
by Lydia Harris on Feb.19, 2011, under articles

Reese Witherspoon is still on the promotion circuit for her new movie, Water For Elephants and she’s now talking about her working relationship with Robert Pattinson.
In a new interview, she talked about their love scenes, saying, “I am so lucky. He’s so amazing and wonderful and sweet and just the nicest guy too, so you can just add that to the soup. I mean, he’s just so good looking and he’s a really nice person.”
Off of the big screen, she says that they share a humorous relationship. She said, “We’ll probably just laugh the whole time, because all we do is just laugh and joke around.”
In Water for Elephants, which arrives in theaters on April 22, Witherspoon, 34, and Pattinson, 24, play lovers involved in a triangle that develops between their characters and Witherspoon’s onscreen husband. And this is not the first film they’ve been in together: Pattinson had a part as Witherspoon’s son in Vanity Fair – only it ended up on the cutting room floor. Still, Withersoon has some vivid memories of first seeing the actor.
“He was walking down this corridor and I turned to the director and I said, ‘That’s my son? He’s so good looking,’ ” she recalls. “I was like, ‘He’s so hot!’ ”
Are you excited to see Water For Elephants? Let us know in the comments! Hey, and at least we’re not saying that Kristen Stewart needs to “Watch her back!” like some other websites. We’re not pointing any fingers….Hollywood Life. And to think I read the Bonnie Fuller edited YM magazine when I was younger. Ugh.
Robert Pattinson compares Water For Elephants to Breaking Dawn
by Jessica LeFevre on Jan.24, 2011, under articles

Robert Pattinson has been a busy little bee with filming for his new movie Water For Elephants, along with filming for the vampire movie, Breaking Dawn.
He said that people will get to see a different side of himself as his character, Jacob Jankowski. In a recent interview, Rob talked about how that movie is different than The Twilight Saga. He revealed that his work with Reese Witherspoon is appealing because of its own unique qualities.
He said, “It definitely felt like I was doing a big movie when I was doing it…and it felt totally different from doing something within the Twilight world because now it just seems so familiar, the Twilight stuff.”
So basically Twilight is old hat to him. Which movie are you more excited to see?

Regarding his new movie, Water For Elephants, he said, “I’m really excited about it coming out. I’ve been doing some additional stuff today and yesterday, and I think…I have a feeling it’s going to be really good. It’s like a big old-fashioned movie. It feels like kind of 40s Hollywood. So, I hope that comes across. It’s got a sort of nostalgic factor that I miss anyway.”

Reese Witherspoon thinks Robert Pattinson is handsome! Who knew?!??
In a recent interview, she said, “I’m not gonna lie. He’s a very, very handsome man. He’s sweet and loving and has the nicest family…He’s a very sensitive soul. He worked really hard. He looks great in the movie, too.”
The two appear in new movie, Water For Elephants together….and obviously they spent a lot of time together. Of the Twilight movies, she said, “I really liked them, me and all my 30-year-old friends! I love the books.”
She met Kristen Stewart, and had nothing but good words for her, as well. She said, “Kristen is really sweet, too.”
She and Jim Toth are getting serious, but she admits that she still doesn’t know anything about dating and love. She added, “I think as you get older you realize, ‘I thought I knew everything, and now I know nothing! I just try to go with my instincts and advise other people to do the same.”
Robert Pattinson almost crushed by an elephant
by Lydia Harris on Sep.04, 2010, under articles

During filming for his latest movie, Water For Elephants, Robert Pattinson was sat on by a four-ton elephant named Rosie.
He was said to be giving Rosie a bath when she nearly crushed him. A spy on the set said, “Robert slid right down the elephant’s back. It could have been a disaster – but he got lucky, landing face first in a pile of mud. He was filthy, but unharmed. Everyone on the set cracked up, especially Reese, who was laughing so hard she couldn’t catch her breath.”
Too funny. But we’re glad it ended well.

Robert Pattinson bit by a lion on the set of Water For Elephants
by Roberta Ferguson on Jul.14, 2010, under articles

On the set of his new movie, Water For Elephants, Robert Pattinson was bitten by a lion!
In the movie, Rob plays a circus worker and has to deal with exotic animals on a daily basis. Of his bite, he said, “Almost every day I’m working with an exotic animal… It’s insane, like I got bitten on the arm by a lion with no teeth. They were like, ‘It’s fine, he does it all the time.’ And I was like, ‘erm.. ok…!’ But they had to get him to do it harder, because he was being so gentle and just licking my arm.”
Too funny! Glad he’s alright!
