According to the latest issue of Globe magazine, the lead detective in O.J. Simpson’s murder trial blew the case. After his passing, it was revealed that he blew the probe that led to O.J. being acquitted of murdering his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her pal, Ron Goldman.

On the cover, they tout “bloody crime scene secrets the detective took to the grave.”

Also featured in this issue is Wheel Of Fortune host, Pat Sajak’s “booze battle”. I would hardly call it a battle when he just admitted to tossing back margaritas with Vanna White in between show tapings.

In addition, the tabloid claims that Whitney Houston is broke. The tabloid reveals that “drug dealers stole her $100 million fortune.”

Lastly, Garth Brooks has gotten revenge on a hospital after donating $500,000 to them with the promise of getting their women’s center named after his mother, Colleen. He took the matter to court and got his money back.

So basically, they are telling us that O.J. was guilty of murder (Duh!), Pat Sajak likes to drink (obvious), Whitney Houston has no money and Garth Brooks sued a hospital. Does any of this make for good reading? Hit the comments and let us know what you think!

Songbird Whitney Houston is gearing up to make her big screen comeback as part of a remake of the 1976 musical, Sparkle.

Reportedly, Whitney is in talks currently to star in the movie reboot. She hasn’t starred in a movie since 1996′s The Preacher’s Wife, but she is in negotiations to return to the big screen after fifteen years.

According to reports, Sparkle focuses on three sisters from Harlem who form a musical group, set in the 1960′s. Reportedly, Jordin Sparks has already signed on to make her big screen debut.

Yesterday, reports surfaced on the internet, suggesting that songstress Whitney Houston was suffering from emphysema.

Now, her rep is shooting down reports that she’s suffering from the lung disease, reassuring fans that Whitney is okay health-wise.

She has had a long battle with drug addiction and has recently checked herself into rehab. But, it wasn’t all a cover up to mask some even more devastating news…Thankfully!

Whitney’s publicist, Kristen Foster, has spoken out about the rumors that her lungs were failing due to her history of cigarette smoking and crack cocaine use. She has called the rumors “completely untrue.”

And there you have it! Good for her. I really hope that Whitney is able to get her life together and be happy and just sing.

Tell me that the good news didn’t make you feel like dancing! Ha.

Just a bit ago, we told you that Whitney Houston had checked herself into an out-patient rehab program. A source close to the singer said that the issues she’s dealing with have nothing to do with drugs or alcohol.

Now, her rep is slamming those reports, saying that drugs and booze are, in fact, the issue at hand!

Her rep stated that she is receiving treatment as part of a long-standing recovery process.

A music industry source who was with Whitney two weeks ago tells us, “She was plastered and she was a mess.”

Songbird Whitney Houston has opted to check herself into an out-patient rehab program!

Reportedly, the latest stint in rehab is not drug or alcohol related, how’s that for a shocker? A spy close to Whitney said that she checked herself in for the program ten days ago.

The source also claims that while Whitney has enrolled into a program, it’s not for drug or alcohol abuse. The source said, “She’s cleansing herself to get ready for a new movie.”

Any treatment facility I’ve ever heard of doesn’t just take people into their programs just because they want to cleanse themselves. So what gives? Any guesses?

Wow! Now that Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter Bobbi Kristina has been busted for doing cocaine last week, we’ve learned that she has a sex tape, as well!

We have not seen the tape, nor will we allow any links to said tape, primarily because it’s very likely that she was underage when it was made.

MediaTakeOut claims that they were approached by a guy trying to sell them the tape featuring Bobbi and an ex-boyfriend of hers. The tape was said to be “freaky” and “explicit”.

For the record, she is 18 now, but because we have not and will not view the footage, we cannot comment on her age at the time of filming. But still! Is she trying to go the same route to fame as Montana Fishburne?

Last week, there were rumors floating around suggesting that Rihanna was going to take the role that Whitney Houston made famous in the remake of The Bodyguard — now we’re hearing that’s not true.

Rihanna has since denied the reports, saying that she is not interested in doing acting roles of which also involve any singing.

In a recent interview, she said, “Absolutely not. I want to separate the two. I hate it when singers do singing movies all the time because you can never look at them as anybody else.”

When asked about her career as an actress, she said, “I want to play a character, my whole life is playing Rihanna, being a singer won’t be a stretch for me. I like challenges and being an actor is playing a role, being able to step into somebody else’s shoes, that’s the excitement.”

After performing in Stockholm, Sweden last night, Whitney Houston took some photos with fans and they show her a little on the more voluptuous side.

She’s looking and sounding a lot better than she has in a long time, but the media is spinning it saying that she might be pregnant. I’m not buying it. She’s 46-years-old and has a rumored drug problem still brewing.

Unless that’s what it is….maybe she finally won the battle against her demons. Now that would have me singing her praises once more. She was once a huge talent and I think she has the potential to grasp the world again with it.

Friends and family members of Whitney Houston are concerned that she may have relapsed back into her drug doing days and are urging the singer to head back to rehab.

The singer was said to have appeared “breathless, exhausted and disoriented during her comeback tour”, which has prompted her family to lead a campaign to get her back into treatment.

According to Celebitchy, an insider said, “The family members are deeply concerned because Whitney appears to be back to the same erratic and troubling behavior she exhibited when she was in the grips of a crack and cocaine addiction. Whitney is drinking alcohol and she’s frequently dazed, confused and seemingly out of it. She came close to destroying her career and professional reputation with drugs, and the family is determined to avert a similar disaster.”

Her family wants her to seek the necessary treatment during her break in her Nothing But Love tour. Another source said, “Her family wants her to slip into rehab during the break, and then undergo more intensive treatment in June. They feel strongly that Whitney won’t be able to finish the tour unless she gets help right away – and they believe it could save her life.”
