Country singer Taylor Swift opened up the 2013 Grammy Awards with a performance of her hit song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”. It was the song that was said to be written about her ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal, but for last night’s performance, she seemed to be taking aim at her most recent ex, One Direction singer Harry Styles.

At the 2:18 point in the clip above, she says, “And he calls me up and he’s like, ‘I still love you’ and I’m like, ‘I’m sorry, I’m busy opening up the Grammys…and we are never getting back together.'”
The funny part is that when she says his “I still love you” part, it’s in a British accent! Did Taylor just take a swipe at Harry Styles? Does this girl ever get over the anger that she’s obviously holding onto when she writes these songs?
Is it time for Taylor Swift to find a new schtick? Is the hating on ex-boyfriends thing getting a little old for anyone else, or is it just us? We’re guessing that she is going to continue putting this stuff out as long as there are people out there that will buy it in droves. What do you think? Was she talented and experienced enough as an entertainer to be given the opening slot of the Grammys?
