The Bachelorette 2012 Recap: Emily's Daughter Is A Compromise?

Tonight on ABC was an all new episode of “The Bachelorette” and we got to see an all new side of Kalon AKA “Helicopter Guy”, along with Ryan. (Who knew he was the jealous type?) Emily Maynard had two really cool one-on-one dates planned as well as some drama to deal with. In case you’ve missed week two, we have it recapped here in detail, for your perusal.

Emily took Arie to a carnival where she got to see how different he is. We like Arie and think he would be a perfect suitor for Emily. Of course, we would be remiss if we didn’t mention how perfect Ryan is, as well, but we digress. Dolly Parton closed out their date with a performance! Will Arie get a rose for his efforts on this date? (Spoiler alert: Of course!)

Also treated to a date with Emily on Monday night was Chris, the bobble-head guy. He’s such a genuine and sincere guy, that we think he’s just great for Emily.

The show wouldn’t be complete without the added element of drama, right? Tony complained that he missed his kid, but is it really just a plea for sympathy from our Bachelorette? Or is he quitting the show? As it turned out, he was sent home because Emily didn’t want to keep him away from his son, Taylor.

Also, Kalon was a douche to Emily, telling her that he loves it when she talks, but could she let him finish. Did he just Kanye West her? Did I just use Kanye West as a verb? Yes, I did.

Who did Emily tell to GTFO tonight? Alessandro! When he finally got some one-on-one time with her, he told her that he felt that being married to someone with a daughter was a compromise. Also of note was how he told her girlfriends that he has cheated in the past and has had a one night stand. Buh-bye, Alessandro!

The funniest moment is when Travis gave Emily “Shelly” the egg to slam down on the ground. The guys peered in from inside the house and poured one out for Shelly. Too funny.
