The Brink Season 2 has been picked up by HBO, which announced the recent 10-episode comedy series starring Jack Black, Tim Robbins and Pablo Schreiber, will be receiving another season. The pick up was made right before contract options for each of the main stars of the show were about to expire, and also comes 14 days after the death of the show’s executive producer, Jerry Weintraub, who passed away at age 77.
When a rogue general seizes control of its own nuclear arsenal in Pakistan, the fate of the world rests on the shoulders of three unlikely Americans, Secretary of State Walter Larson, Foreign Service officer Alex Talbot and pilot Zeke Tilson.
