The X Factor Top 4 Live Performance Recap For December 12, 2012

Tonight at 8PM EST on FOX is an all new episode of “The X Factor” — and we are down to the top four competitors in the competition. Demi Lovato is out as a mentor on the show and remaining in the competition are Carly Rose Sonenclar, Tate Stevens, Emblem3 and Fifth Harmony. On last week’s double elimination episode, we said goodbye to Cece Frey and Diamond White, so it really is anyone’s game! In case you’ve missed the show, you can read our recap here.

Tonight is the semi-finals on the show and we will get to see who has what it takes to make it through to next week’s finals. As always, we will be providing our live coverage of the show tonight as it airs, so stay tuned for the only live recap that you’re going to need.

Tonight, each of the remaining contestants will take on two songs each. One will be a song chosen by them, while the other, a song chosen by their mentor. Who will have what it takes to get through?

Until then, leave us a note in the comments below and tell us who you are rooting for to win the second season of the show. Who is your favorite contestant from season two? Lastly, were you shocked at all at the eliminations of Cece and Diamond? Don’t forget to join us at 8PM for all of the up-to-the-minute goodies and refresh this page often — we update a lot!
