The X Factor USA Season 2 Episode 6 Recap 9/27/12

Tonight on FOX is an all new episode of the hit talent competition “The X Factor”. The auditions for the show end tonight, so we’re gearing up to see who the final chosen ones are who get to go to Boot Camp. In case you’ve missed Wednesday night’s episode of the show, you can read our fully detailed recap here.

On Wednesday night’s show, we were treated to some brilliantly talented singers. One of which included Gene Simmons’ daughter Sophie Tweed-Simmons. She, along with a bunch of other talented performers were given the golden ticket to perform in front of the judges at Boot Camp. If you’ve been watching, leave a comment and tell us who you think has what it takes to win it all.

Stay tuned for our live recap of the show, which airs tonight between 8PM-9PM EST. Who are you rooting for?

RECAP:

Trevor Moran was set to take the stage first on tonight’s show, but apparently they’ve lost him. Where is Trevor?!?? They’ve located Trevor, but he is getting medical help from EMTs. He was overly excited and got dehydrated. He finally takes the stage to perform LMFAO’s song, “I’m Sexy And I Know It”. He’s bringing the house down! He got a yes from all four judges and all of them said that they were entertained by his performance. He’s off to Boot Camp!

Owen Stuart is taking the stage next, singing “Airplanes” by B.O.B. The audience is totally digging it. Britney said no, L.A. said yes along with Simon and Demi. He’s going through to Boot Camp.

Freddie Combs is about to get up on the stage next. He’ll be singing “Wind Beneath My Wings” by Bette Midler. He’s doing such a great job! Good for him! Standing ovation from the audience…nice. L.A. said his voice is heavenly and the rest of the judges agreed. He got a yes from all four of the judges and he’s off to the next stage of the competition.

Now we’re being treated (not really) to some crappy singers. Lauren Jauregui is taking the stage next to sing “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys. Holy crap, if you’d close your eyes, you would think it was Alicia on the stage. Amazing performance that gave us chills. She is definitely going through to Boot Camp.

Jordyn Foley is up next singing “Tomorrow” from Little Orphan Annie. Simon absolutely hates the song. The judges liked the performance. Demi said yes, along with Britney, but Simon said no. L.A. said yes, so she is going through to Boot Camp. Cute!
