These Two Lindsay Lohan Stories Seem Connected Somehow

Lindsay Lohan is spending her time before doing the West End production of “Speed-The-Plow” by hanging out with her sober friends in New York. Coincidentally, the troubled actress’ credit card declined after she and some friends ran up a tab of $2,500 at a Southampton bar on Saturday night. Sober people order bottles of vodka and have thousands of dollars as a bar tab?!?

RadarOnline reported, “Lindsay was making every effort to reestablish contact with her sober group of friends this weekend while she was in New York. Lindsay said she needed to get away and clear her head, but now she is trying to get back on track. Reconnecting with people in her life that are positive influences is a huge step in the right direction.”

Interestingly enough, Page Six reports that Lindsay and her friends were partying at 1Oak in Southampton and when she tried to cover the bill, her credit card was declined. Is Lindsay going broke?

In a rare move, Lohan was attempting to pay the $2,500 bill for her table and bottles of vodka, when her card was rejected.

A source said, “Lindsay freaked out when her card was declined. Her friends and others in her group had to chip in to cover the bill.”

We don’t think she was actually connecting with “sober” friends if her card was rejected at the local bar…Do you?

It sounds like she was trying to get some partying in before she begins working on her role in “Speed-The-Plow”. Of course, that’s fine, but let’s call a spade a spade — shall we?
