Top 80's Movie Actors: Where Are They Now?

When you think of the best movies of the 80’s, you probably think of movies like Pretty In Pink, The Breakfast Club, Dirty Dancing and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. To sate your curiosity and ours, we’re following up with the casts of these three wonderful movies to see where they are now.

To kick off our list, let’s take a look at the main cast of the movie Pretty In Pink. Molly Ringwald stars in the movie as Andie and has since gone on to great things. She has done a television role in The Secret Life Of The American Teenager, has written two books and has most recently recorded a jazz album called Except Sometimes.

Jon Cryer has been a more visible actor since his Brat Pack days. He currently stars as Dr. Alan Harper in the television show Two And A Half Men. Duckie’s making the big bucks now on the small screen, no?

After playing the “richie” kid Steff in the movie, James Spader went on to do a great number of movies and television performances. He landed the movies Sex, Lies & Videotape along with Secretary and is most currently known for his role in the television series Boston Legal. Where he is now is currently filming the new flick Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

Andrew McCarthy starred as Blane in the movie and has done some good movies since. These days, he hasn’t done much in the way of movies or television, but authored a book titled The Longest Way Home: One Man’s Quest for the Courage to Settle Down. He also is noted as a travel editor at large for National Geographic Traveler magazine.
