WARNING: This post contains obvious spoilers for the fifth season premiere of HBO’s True Blood.

We don’t know what’s going to happen on tonight’s show, but we’ve been spoiling the new season all along. Here’s a brief primer of what went down in season four: Lafayette is a medium, Jesus died, Sookie doesn’t want to be with Eric or Bill, Debbie shoots Tara in the head and someone has unleashed Russell Edgington back into the world.

Here is the official synopsis from HBO on tonight’s episode: In the fifth-season premiere, Sookie and Lafayette are reeling from Tara’s shooting, but there is also the matter of cleaning up Debbie Pelt’s blood. Meanwhile, Bill and Eric face a new threat from the Authority; Marcus’ disappearance sends his wolf pack after Sam; Jessica parties with her human peers; Jason has a reunion with Rev. Steve Newlin; a visit from Terry’s war buddy brings back his PTSD; and Alcide warns Sookie about Russell Edgington’s return.

Dale Dickey joins the cast this season as Marcus’ mother, who is likely looking to exact her revenge on Sam and/or Alcide for slaying her pup. Who will she go after?
