WARNING: This post contains obvious spoilers for the second episode of True Blood’s seventh season, titled “I Found You”. If you have yet to see Sunday’s episode of the vampire drama, please avert your eyes until you have.
As Sam, Jason, Alcide, Sookie and Andy investigate the nearby town of Saint Alice, everything in Bon Temps is apparently falling apart at the seams. The people there are taking up arms against the infected vampires, leaving poor Adilyn stuffed into a jail cell while her father is away looking for answers to the town’s mystery.
Arlene and Holly spot a familiar face in one of their vampire captors. She happens to be a teacher of whom helped both of their children in school. The ladies look to her for their freedom, but that doesn’t last long. The teacher offers to free the captives, but needs to feed first. As she feeds on Arlene, she explodes into a pile of goo.
While in Saint Alice, Sookie happens upon a diary with a story all too similar to her own. The writer speaks of meeting her first vampire and we see a flashback of Sookie fawning over Bill before their first trip to Fangtasia. In that scene, she asked Bill to take her to the vampire bar, but tells him that their little excursion is not a date. Meanwhile, they all notice that there is no one left in the city and the bodies have been drained.
In this episode, fans are also treated to a steamy sex scene between Eric and Jason. Of course, Jason is dreaming and because he has had Eric’s blood, it seems about right. Unfortunately for Jason, he is snoozing in a church when that goes down.
Jessica senses that Adilyn is in trouble, but can’t do anything about it because it’s daylight. Andy arrives back from Saint Alice and Jessica informs him that she will look for Adilyn when darkness comes.
Also of note is that Lettie Mae is now addicted to the V, so she can see her daughter Tara. Willa gives in despite the pastor telling her not to. Is Lettie Mae looking for answers from her daughter or does she like the V itself?
