On last night’s episode of True Blood (RECAP HERE), a lot of things happened – and some things were supposed to happen that didnt. Eric wasn’t given the true death and Jason didn’t change into a werepanther with the coming of the new moon. Andy asked Holly out, Arlene and Terry’s house burned down and Eric and Sookie hooked up.

The new episode, Cold Grey Light Of Dawn, airs on HBO at 9pm on August 7, 2011 and here’s a brief recap of what’s coming ahead for Bon Temps. Synopsis:

True Blood “Cold Grey Light of Dawn” Season 4 Episode 7 – With Marnie (Fiona Shaw) empowered by spirits of the dead, Bill (Stephen Moyer) issues an unpopular order to save vampires from the light. Perhaps Jessica and Jason will get together now that they have a blood bond between them. Hoyt has already said that he doesn’t want her blood, so perhaps she wants someone more accepting?

Marnie is turning into a powerful witch after being possessed by Antonia. She wants to make all of the vampires meet the sun and recruits Tara to help her.
