In the season five premiere episode of HBO’s hit show “True Blood”, it started off with a bang. The show picked up right where it left off and it couldn’t have been more glorious. In case you’ve missed the season premiere, we’ve got it recapped at this link for your perusal.
We’ll briefly recap the events in Sunday’s premiere episode. Pam looks to better her relationship with Eric, so she makes a deal with Sookie to try and turn Tara. Reverend Newlin glamours Jason into allowing him to enter his house, but is saved by Jessica who tells him that Jason is hers. The Vampire Authority came after Bill and Eric, but with Eric’s sister Nora’s help, they escape – for now.
Sookie almost gave her murderous tendencies away to Alcide when he shows up to warn her about Russell Edgington’s return. Sam tries to take responsibility for Marcus’ death, but Alcide won’t have it. After attempting to change their identities, the Authority catches up with Eric, Bill and Nora and capture them.
Next week’s “True Blood” episode is titled “Authority Always Wins” and we’ve got the official synopsis below:
Tara resurfaces in Bon Temps; Pam recalls her human life and first encounter with Eric; Bill and Eric meet Salome at the Vampire Authority headquarters.
Not only do they meet Salome, but per the promo video, they are also introduced to the Guardian of the Authority, Roman (Chris Meloni). Watch the preview below:
“True Blood” airs on Sunday night’s on HBO at 9PM EST. “Authority Always Wins” is set to air on June 17, 2012. Will you be tuning in? We certainly HAVE to know how Tara handles being a vampire, despite despising them for the longest time. In addition, we’ll get to see what the Authority is all about and they operate. We’ve also heard rumblings that we’ll get to see Pam’s human life, so we’re hoping that we can see Pam get turned by Eric, as well.
