Vanessa Paradis Doesn't Want To Talk About Johnny Depp

French actress Vanessa Paradis has given her first interview to “French Elle” since splitting from Johnny Depp. One thing that she doesn’t want to talk about in the media is Johnny. Are you surprised by this?

They were together for 14 years, but she doesn’t think that just because they split up that it should be open season on her personal life. Who could blame her? She has more to offer the public than her relationship struggles, no?

She is currently promoting her new movie “Cornouaille” and opened up to the magazine. She said, “I don’t want to talk about him. Who said that artists should sell their soul, expose everything about themselves? It’s my duty to promote this movie, and my albums, but can you imagine what it feels like to see people making a business out of your pain.”

She went on to say, “What’s happened to us is our concern. I don’t have the recipe for happiness, but I think the engine is simply having the desire. It’s not feeling obliged or forced or repeating yourself. I hate, for example, whenever you hear someone say: ‘You have to work at being a couple.’ No, you have to want to be there. And for me, I want to be right where I am now.”

After their split, it was rumored that Johnny wanted to get back together with Vanessa and was said to have given her an antique gold pendant with the message “My heart is always with you.”

A source revealed at the time, “They are having a family holiday to show the kids they are still a strong family even if those two are split or not. But the fact he presented her with such a touching gift, it’s almost as if they could make another go of things. Johnny wants to be with his family, he’s a very family oriented man. His kids mean everything to him. What they need more than anything is to get together far away from Hollywood and that is what they are doing.”
