For her first performance on “American Idol” tonight, Hollie Cavanagh is performing her rendition of “Faithfully” by Journey. If you’re missing the show, you can read our live performance recap here.
Of her song choice, Hollie said, “This week it’s tough because I picked really two emotional songs, so these two songs I have to really just kind of let loose and I have to make people feel what I’m feeling when I sing and make them understand the words because I’m singing two popular songs that people love. If I don’t get the right message across then people aren’t going to love it.”
Left in the competition are Phillip Phillips, Joshua Ledet, Jessica Sanchez and Hollie Cavanagh. Who’s your favorite?
Randy Jackson said she did Steve Perry proud and Holly wants to take this thing. Jennifer Lopez said that she got emotional seeing how far she’s come. She’s grown and has confidence and is ready to share her gift with everybody. Steven Tyler said he’s watched her blossom and her creativity has come around. Her flower is blossoming.
