Walking Dead Recap Season 2 Episode 10 ’18 Miles Out’ 2/26/12

Tonight we rejoin the gang on Hershel’s farm on AMC’s Walking Dead to see what the outcome of all the conflict between Rick’s people and Hershel’s people will be. If you missed last weeks episode you can view the review and recap here.

Last week Rick and Hershel’s groups were trying to deal with the deaths of the walkers that were hidden in Hershel’s barn and Hershel apparently decided to fall off the wagon and head into town to the town bar in search for booze. Rick and Glenn go into to town to get Hershel and bring him back since one of his daughters is suffering from the loss of her mother who happened to be one of the walkers in the barn. While in town Rick and Glenn find Hershel and attempt to convince him to come back to the farm and they are visited by some actual humans that they were very leary of. Long story short, they try to make a move on Rick and he shoots them both and in moments whoever these two man were traveling with were in the town after hearing the shots looking for Dave and Tony.

Unfortunately it was inevitable that an old time shoot out gets started which in turn calls on all the walkers. Rick, Glenn and Hershel manage to get out of town in the nick of time but they end up bring a stranger to the farm that was injured during the shoot out.

When they get back to the farm the idea of a stranger being there that could eventually bring the others from that group there to start a war over Hershel’s land.

In the end we leave off with Lori telling Rick that she is afraid of Shane and what we may do since his love for her seems to be gettin’ out of hand.
