'Weird Al' Yankovic Announces Mandatory World Tour And There Are A LOT Of Shows

Pop music satirist ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic is about to embark on one of the most ambitious tours of his long and storied music career. The ‘Eat Eat’ musician has announced show dates for the “Mandatory World Tour” and his venues are planned from May 2015 through October 2015.

Weird Al’s album Mandatory Fun debuted recently and became his first album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard chart.

The Weird Al tour starts on May 12 in Las Vegas, Nevada, at Planet Hollywood, and concludes on October 6 in Dublin, Ireland.

Southern California and many other popular destinations are not on the list of tour locations, which either means Weird Al wants to play mostly smaller shows in Wichita, Kansas and other uncommon touring areas, or that he will announce even more tour dates once interest for his show is gauged by ticket promoters.
