Whitney Houston Cause Of Death: Xanax Or Drowning?

Yesterday, when Whitney Houston died, she was found to be taking an anxiety medication called Xanax. When this medication is taken with alcohol, it is believed to cause heavy sedation. She was in a bathtub filled with water, so she may have drowned from the sedation. The L.A. County Coroner is going to do an autopsy on the famous singer today. People that were close to Whitney say that she took them before her shows.

Whitney’s hairdresser, bodyguard, and her stylist were in her hotel room when she died. They said they were getting a little worried because she was in the bathroom way too long just to take a bath. It was getting to close to the time she had to go to the Clive Davis party. The hairdresser had knocked on the door but there was no answer. When she opened the door, she found Whitney dead in the bathtub. She screamed and the bodyguard came in and performed CPR until the medics arrived. Hotel security showed up and right after that the paramedics came. She was pronounced dead at 3:55 PM PST on February 12, 2012.

Such a sad way to go. RIP Whitney Houston. Let’s hope that new generations are also able to know her for the music she created and not just the problems she had.
