An autobiographical television comedy created by Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine has been picked up by the head honchos over at NBC.
The Payphone singer, who is a star of the network’s hit singing competition The Voice, signed a one-year development deal with executives earlier this year, and it appears his contract is about to reap rewards.
Levine and his longtime roommate Gene Hong have come up with a sitcom based on their lives together. The two pals previously came up with an idea for a sitcom based in a karaoke bar two years ago but the project never made it to a pilot episode.
