American Idol Results Elimination Recap 4/18/13

Tonight on FOX is an all new episode of the hit singing competition “American Idol”. On tonight’s show, America will find out who was eliminated out of the top five remaining ladies. In case you’ve missed last night’s performance episode of the show, you can get caught up with our recap here.

On Wednesday night’s show, the ladies took on two songs: the first was a song from the year of their births and the second, a song from a diva. Each of the performances showcased why each of the girls still belong in the competition at this stage.

The judges weren’t short on compliments last night, except for Nicki Minaj — who claimed that Janelle would be in danger of leaving the competition this evening. Left in the competition at this point are Kree Harrison, Janelle Arthur, Angie Miller, Candice Glover and Amber Holcomb.

Stay tuned as we provide our live coverage of the show tonight as it airs from 8 to 10PM EST! Refresh this page often for the latest updates! In the meantime, tell us who you think is going to get eliminated on tonight’s show!

Clay Aiken is on stage singing Simon & Garfunkel’s song “Bridge Over Troubled Water”. Afterward, Fantasia is performing a song of hers and she sounds awful!

The first person safe and moving on in the competition is Candice Glover. The next safe competitor is Angie Miller. The third person going to safety is Amber Holcomb. Kree Harrison and Janelle Arthur are in the bottom two!

Janelle is singing for the judges’ save tonight! Kree is safe!!!! Janelle is singing “You Keep Me Hangin’ On” by the Supremes….it’s a lackluster performance at best. The judges are not going to use their save…are they?

Randy Jackson said that they will NOT be using the save! Janelle has been eliminated from the competition! What do you think of the results tonight? Was the right person sent home?
