American Idol Recap: Top 4 Performance Episode 5/9/12

Tonight is an all new performance episode of “American Idol” and we will get to see the top four competitors take on two songs, along with a duet. It’s all coming down to the wire as the remaining contestants battle it out for the “Idol” crown. Tonight’s theme is “California Dreamin'” and “Songs They Wish They’d Written” and we will see the contestants sing two songs. Tonight’s song list is “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” by Creedence Clearwater Revival, “Steal Away” by Etta James, “You Raise Me Up” by Josh Groban and “Faithfully” by Journey. For the songs the Idols wish they’d written, they will be performing “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going” by Jennifer Holliday, “I Can’t Make You Love Me” by Bonnie Raitt, “Volcano” by Damien Rice and “It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown. For the duets portion of the show, they will take on “This Love” by Maroon 5 and “Eternal Flame” by The Bangles.
