Just yesterday, reality TV momager Kris Jenner filed for divorce from Bruce after 23 years of marriage. They separated eleven months ago, but Kris made it official yesterday. She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for her split from the former Olympian and it appears that all of the details of their divorce have been worked out in advance. She filed without the aid of a lawyer and they have already split up their shared property.
Now, Bruce has filed a response to his soon-to-be ex-wife’s petition for divorce. Just hours following her divorce petition’s receipt by the courts, Bruce filed his asking for all of the same things that she asked for. He also agreed that they should have joint legal and physical custody of their youngest daughter Kylie Jenner, who is seventeen-years-old. He also asked to keep his “jewelry and other personal effects” along with “earnings and accumulations…from and after the date of separation.”
Both parties have also agreed to waive any and all rights to spousal support. They announced their separation last year and said that they would remain “best friends” following the split. Kris revealed at the time, “We are living separately and we are much happier this way. But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends, and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority. We ended a marriage, but that’s not the end of our friendship. I will always love him, but we are no longer a couple in that way.”
