Charlie Hunnam Talks About 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Departure

Charlie Hunnam’s name has been all the rage since being announced for the lead role of Christian Grey in the highly anticipated movie Fifty Shades Of Grey. Fans of the S&M franchise spoke up to either defend Charlie as the choice for the role or suggest replacements. Since, he has backed out of the project in lieu of his other work commitments. Could it have been the rumors floating around about Charlie only getting $125,000 for the role?

Surely, $125,000 sounds like a ton of money to all of us, but to an actor for a successful franchise, it doesn’t sound like a lot at all. He really shocked us when it was announced that he was leaving the movie projects because we really liked the thought of him playing Christian. Who else could possibly take this role and make it into something special? It’s not like the source material is a work of art or anything…

Charlie has opened up about his departure from the movie. He said in a new interview, “I am doing good. I am just really concentrating on work. It’s been a really busy time. I have had some family stuff going on so just trying to stay focused and stay positive and keep trying to do a good job at work and be with my family and stay positive.”
