Colin Firth's Mr. Darcy Statue Erected In London Lake

A statue of Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy from Pride And Prejudice has been erected in a lake in London. It commemorates the famous scene in the Jane Austen movie, showing Mr. Darcy from the waist up.

The statue was placed in Serpentine Lake in London’s Hyde Park amid the swans and swimmers. It has been placed at that particular lake in order to promote a new free digital TV channel in the U.K. called Drama. The channel is said to promote shows of the same ilk as Pride and Prejudice.

The statue will be moved around to several locations before it is installed in a lake in Lyme Park in northwest England where the actual scene was filmed.

Pretty interesting, no?
