Conor Kennedy's Cousin Defends Taylor Swift Romance

Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy have really grown close since meeting. They’ve reportedly crashed a wedding together and have been seen spending a lot of time with each other. Taylor has since become a target of media scrutiny for her relationship with Conor, but those close to him say that their relationship is actually good for him.

After the tragic suicide of his mother Mary Richardson, he and Taylor have visited her grave. She has been helping him get over the shock of his mother’s suicide, according to relatives. His cousin Christopher Lawford said that he supports their union because she is helping him through a really hard time in his life.

He revealed, “Mary Richardson was a big-hearted individual who cared deeply for her kids and they’ve suffered greatly for her not being there. So whatever Conor has to do to comfort himself, he should do it as long as they are both happy and healthy…and left alone.”

Conor’s grandmother Ethel has confirmed that Taylor is purchasing a home near the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port so that she can be closer to Conor. She said, “I’m happy that we’ll be neighbors. I’m thrilled. She is just spectacular; she is just sensational. She’s very kind. You know what she really is? She’s game. She had never sailed before, she sailed; she had never gone dragging before, she dragged…She played everything that everyone was doing…no fuss. How could you [fall in love with her]? I think the world has.”
