The possessions of late Glee actor Cory Monteith were moved out of his Los Angeles apartment on Monday – almost an entire month following his untimely death.
Moving men were spotted emptying out his 12th floor home at the Sunset Vine Tower Residences in Hollywood following the actor’s death in Vancouver on July 13, 2013.
Three workers spent over four hours loading boxes and furniture, including a desk and chairs, out of the actor’s home, but the final destination of his possessions has yet to be revealed.
The move comes just a day after his on and off-screen girlfriend Lea Michele paid tribute to him onstage at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday as she dedicated the show’s trophy to him. She accepted an award for her work as character Rachel Berry on the hit musical show and tearfully dedicated her award to Monteith’s memory.
She said, “I promise that with your love, we’re going to get through this together. He was very special to me and also to the world, and we were very lucky to witness his incredible talent, his handsome smile and his beautiful, beautiful heart.”
She added, “So whether you knew him personally or just as Finn Hudson, Cory reached out, and he became a part of all of our hearts and that’s where he’ll stay forever.”
Monteith passed away after ingesting a lethal combination of alcohol and heroin. He was 31-years-old.
