Dancing With The Stars Elimination: Bristol Palin Refuses To Speak To Press

Right after last night’s elimination on “Dancing With The Stars”, it was said that Bristol Palin refused to address the media with regard to her getting the axe from the dancing competition. Surprising? Not really.

On Monday night’s performance episode of the show, Bristol and her professional dance partner Mark Ballas scored 32 points out of 40, making them the second from the bottom on the leaderboard. They shared the bottom two positions with Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, but were eliminated from the competition.

Usually, after an elimination, the axed parties have some words of wisdom about their time on the show, but not Bristol. Mark spoke to the press afterward, saying, “She’s preparing for the schedule that lays ahead. It’s tough man. I’m sure it’s alarming. I’m just really proud of her. For someone like that with zero entertainment experience, she didn’t go down without a fight.”

With regard to how she has changed since their first season together, he said, “Definitely more vocal about what she wants and how she wants to approach things. I really tried my best here. There’s not much more I could have done.”

Aside from their little argument last week, he said that they got along really well. He also commented on who he thinks will take home the Mirror Ball trophy…Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough. What do you think? Is that an accurate prediction given their performances during the All-Stars season?
