Emma Watson denies Brown University bullying reports

Recently, it was reported that Harry Potter actress Emma Watson was bullied into leaving Brown University. She was said to be getting harassed by classmates after calling out correct answers to questions posed by professors.

According to the source, her classmates “would respond [to her answer] with a quote from ‘Harry Potter.’” The most popular choice was “Three points for Gryffindor!” – a reference to the movie’s dormitory system, and a congratulatory phrase in the films when a student got a correct answer.

Now, her rep is doing damage control, insisting that the bullying rumors are not true. Instead, the rep said that Emma made the decision to leave to pursue a course that the college does not offer.

The rep also stated that Emma “absolutely loved her time at Brown.”
