Former “Harry Potter” actress Emma Watson says that she is envious of those actresses of whom did not get famous early on because it allowed them the opportunity to mature in a much better way.
As you already know, Watson became famous at a very early age for her portrayal of Hermione Granger in the “Harry Potter” films. At times, she revealed that she felt as if she reached stardom quite early on in her life.
She said, “There are all these actresses who have emerged in the last year or two, and they get to emerge as this complete human being. And I’m so jealous.”
Despite that, she said that she keeps things in her work life separate from her personal life by taking inspiration from screen legend Elizabeth Taylor. She said, “I remember reading this thing that Elizabeth Taylor wrote. She had her first kiss in character, on a movie set. It really struck me. I don’t know how or why, but I had this sense that if I wasn’t really careful, that could be me. That my first kiss could be in somebody else’s clothes. And my experiences could all belong to someone else.”
