Jeremy Lin & Tim Tebow Connect Over Religion

Apparently Tim Tebow and Jeremy Lin have more in common than being linked to reality television personality Kim Kardashian. Both were rumored to have been dating the reality “actress”, but both have issued stern denials that there is any connection between themselves and Kim. One said that he’s a virgin and she has had more sex on camera than he has had in his entire life. The other said plainly, that wasn’t his style. I guess no matter how many bible studies Kim starts, it’s not going to land her a man like Jeremy or Tim!

According to People magazine, Jeremy and Tim have actually become friends. Jeremy’s former chaplain at Harvard, Adrian Lam, said that they had connected. He revealed, “They’ve spoken over the telephone. Jeremy’s been a fan of Tebow’s for a while, but only recently were they able to connect. His comment to me was that Tim is a really great guy and that he’s very inspired by him.”

Tim feels the same way! Awww, don’t you love it when a good bromance comes together? Tim said of Jeremy, “I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know him over the last few weeks and what a great guy he is. How he handles himself and how he carries himself, I think he’s a great role model. And I’m proud of it. I think he’s handling himself great and I think he can take care of himself. And I just say keep being true to him and keep working hard and don’t listen to everybody else.”

Former Harvard assistant coach Kenny Blakeney said that Jeremy talked about his admiration for Tim. Kenny said, “He goes, ‘Man, I love what he stands for.'”

Kenny added, “There’s something there [in their faith] that I think has given those guys the discipline to fight through and break down walls in their professions.”

I love the fact that neither of them wanted their names associated with Kim Kardashian. It just goes to show you that money really can’t buy everything.
