Joey Fatone & Kym Johnson Proud Of Final 'DWTS' Dance

If you tuned into the results show elimination on this Tuesday’s episode of “Dancing With The Stars”, then it’s likely that you were as shocked as we were. Bristol Palin and her professional dance partner Mark Ballas scored the lowest scores on Monday’s performance episode of the show, but they were saved from elimination. Is it deja vu from her previous season?

On Tuesday’s episode, we said goodbye to Joey Fatone and his pro dance partner Kym Johnson in a shocking upset. They’re taking the elimination in stride and aren’t letting it get to them. After their elimination, Kym said, “It’s sad, I’m really sad about it. When we were next to Helio, I thought, Oh we’re gone. I had a feeling. If we had gone out on a bad dance I would be more upset.”

Joey added, “There’s nothing you can do. Apparently people didn’t vote enough, we were in the middle.”

Helio Castroneves said, “I still have mixed feelings. First time for everything. I wasn’t prepared for that, it was surprising. We are happy for the team, but sad to see Joey go away.” His partner Chelsie Hightower said, “We’re ready to come back next week and give a hopefully amazing performance.”

Kirstie Alley added, “We are sad because of Joey, but come on, it’s a double-edged sword. You’re sad because someone leaves and we’ve gotten to be friends now, but it’s sort of like you’re gladiator. You’re very sad when one gets eaten by a lion, but you’ve gotta be happy you didn’t get devoured.”

Well that is one way of looking at it! Next week, two more celebrities will be devoured as the show claims its first double elimination of the season!
