Kate Middleton & Prince William Seek Housekeeper

Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William have announced that they are in search of a housekeeper for their Kensington Palace home. The royal duo announced that they were seeking a housekeeper for the position right after they were married in 2011, but changed their minds because they said that they did not need any help at the time.

Now that the Duchess is pregnant with the royal heir, things have apparently changed for the royal couple. They are currently moving into a larger place at Kensington’s Apartment 1A, which is the former home of Princess Margaret. The ritzy pad is undergoing renovations before the big move at this time.

At present, there are 15 applicants which are seeking the lone position of housekeeper, according to the “Sunday Express”. The paper notes that the duties for the position include “Ensuring all areas of the residence are cleaned and maintained to a high standard at all times. Caring for and maintaining TRH [their royal highnesses] personal clothing, cleaning silverware and glassware and in-house laundry.”

The applicants must also be “ready to run errands, prepare basic meals when required and care for and exercise dogs.”

The position currently requires 37 hours of work per week and the applicants are expected to have a valid U.K. driver’s license and are expected to work some overtime. Do you have what it takes to work for the world’s most famous couple? Will Kim Kardashian and Kanye West follow suit, considering that they feel as if they are “America’s Royalty”? What a laughingstock!
