Katy Perry And John Mayer's Romance Shocked Her Friends

Katy Perry and John Mayer are back together, much to the shock of her closest friends. The former couple called time on their relationship in February 2014 when she went on her Prismatic tour, but apparently they have found their way back to each other.

The couple have reportedly enjoyed “numerous dinner dates and sleepovers” together in recent weeks, but their reconciliation came as a bit of a shock to her inner circle of friends. A source said, “It’s a complete 180 from where she was weeks ago.”

She ended things last February when they got into arguments over how they were going to manage their relationship during her world tour. The insider revealed, “They’re both outspoken and independent. It draws them together, but it can cause problems at times. They are in love and have been seeing each other for a while. They missed each other. They seem very happy about being back together again, but they have to make time for each other and figure out how they can be together in a smooth relationship.”

Another source close to the situation said that John pulled out all of the stops in order to win Katy back. The spy said, “She broke it off last year, but John has never stopped trying to win her back – flowers, phone calls, the works. And I guess it finally worked.”

The source continued, “Katy ended it just so John would see what he was missing. But now that he’s proven himself, she’s willing to give the relationship another shot.”

An insider previously revealed, “Katy and John are back together. Although her friends have warned her to be careful, she is already ignoring all of the red flags. She is not listening to anyone and is doing into this full force.”
