'Kim Kardashian: Hollywood' Brings In $200 Million

Not only is Kim Kardashian an entitled, famewhoring former sex tape star, but she’s filthy rich thanks to her new mobile app “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood”. Apparently the app is free, but in-app purchases will cost you.

Predictions coming from Bloomberg News state that Kim’s game will rake in a cool $200 million from in-app purchases. Insane, right? While playing, users will have to work their way up from the E-list to the A-list thanks to the help of their social climbing pal Kim. Heh.

If a user spends $100 in real money, they get $175,000 in virtual dollars for virtual purchases. The purchased virtual cash can be used to buy clothes, travel and accessories for your virtual character. So, basically you’re spending money on stuff that’s fake, like Kim spent cash to inflate her fake butt.

In a new interview with “E! News”, she said, “This project has been an amazing experience. I’m so excited that people are enjoying the game! I partnered last year with a fantastic company called Glu Mobile to create what is now the number three free and number five grossing game on the Apple App Store. We collaborated on every aspect of the game’s design details and continue to do so with the updates we are bringing out.”

Several of the outfits in the game are modeled after Kim’s real life fashion choices and she just added a trip to Punta Mita, Mexico for her fans. She said, “I love that fans are constantly telling me on social media their favorite parts of the game and even offering suggestion. We’re working really hard to integrate fan feedback and we’ve already added one of my favorite vacation spots to the game! There’s so much more to come, including plenty of cute new looks and exotic locations.”
