Pop star Lady Gaga is no stranger to trying to save money. She is richer than rich, but she is still a fan of shopping for bargains in stores and insists on using coupons whenever possible.
She rose to international stardom in 2008 and is a millionaire, but that doesn’t mean that she isn’t frugal. She said that she isn’t ashamed to be a penny pincher. Why should she be? Just because she has money doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have any common sense, right?
She took to her official Twitter page to say, “why do people look at me like I’m crazy when i use coupons at grocery or try bargaining at retail, IM FROM NEW YORK WHERE IS THE SALE RACK”.
She went on to say, “then @brandonvance @tarasavelo i went to another store + this guy was pushing a 20,000 dollar purse on me telling me it was “iconic.” as if. so i set my kelly bag on the counter+said no THIS IS ICONIC it’s 1/2 the cost vintage + the bag your trying to sell me was patterned off it.”
Get ’em Gaga!
