Lindsay Lohan Already A No Show At The Morgue

Lindsay Lohan Already A No Show At The Morgue

At her progress hearing yesterday, Lindsay Lohan was remanded into custody for violating her probation. Her lawyer, Shawn Holley, tried everything imaginable to keep Lindsay from going back to jail, but she proved no match for the judge, who was tired of hearing Lindsay’s excuses.

She had Lindsay cuffed in the courtroom, without the courtesy of having any of the cameras turned off. She was held on $100,000 bail. Her attorney was advised that if Lindsay made bail, she would have to do 16 hours of community service at the Morgue before her next court date on November 2, 2011.

So, Lindsay bailed out and was supposed to start her community service at the morgue today. I guess she wasn’t really looking forward to it, because she was late, by 40 minutes. It gets even better than that. Apparently, she couldn’t figure out the door — because we know how tricky those fickled things can be. TMZ reports:

We’re told Lindsay didn’t show up until 8:40. Her publicist claims she was late “due to a combination of not knowing the entrance to go through and confusion caused by the media waiting for her arrival.”

Lindsay was met at the door by Coroner’s officials who turned her away.

We’re told the Coroner’s office then contacted the Probation Dept.’s Volunteer Center — which supervises Lindsay’s probation — and notified them that she was late … AGAIN. That info will be forwarded on to Judge Stephanie Sautner.

Lindsay also took to Twitter to discuss her little visit today. She tweeted, “With all of the stress and pressure from yesterday and today, I’ve never been so happy to go to therapy!!!! Also, I’m sorry for the confusion that I may of caused to those at the Coroner’s office. Won’t happen again, now I know where to go! Thank you for your help.”

Forty minutes?!?!?? There are no words. But was she pushing the “pull” door? Curious.

Update: You can see a photo of her getting turned away in her super expensive Porsche HERE.
