It looks as if Paris Jackson won’t be called upon to testify in the court battle over her late father’s untimely passing. She was set to take the witness stand prior to her suicide attempt, but the family’s lawyer has confirmed that her testimony will not be heard in court.
The case of the family versus AEG Live is ongoing and the Jackson family alleges that the music giant was neglectful in their hiring of Dr. Conrad Murray. Paris was going to talk about watching her father’s last moments, but when it was revealed that she attempted suicide, all bets were off.
The family’s lawyer, Deborah Chang, said, “Paris is not going to be testifying.”
Paris’ older brother Prince Michael has taken the stand to say that Paris has had a tough time coping with the loss of their father in 2009. He said, “Out of all my siblings, she was probably hit the hardest because she was my dad’s princess. It really hurt her a lot. She definitely is dealing with it in her own way. Nothing will ever be the same. I can’t sleep at night. I have a hard time sleeping. For a while after he died, I became emotionally distant from a lot of people.”
Hope this ordeal is over with them with a positive result soon enough.
