Sage Stallone's Autopsy Complete; Cause Of Death Pending Toxicology

Sage Stallone passed away at the age of 36 on Friday and an autopsy was completed on him on Sunday. The son of actor Sylvester Stallone was said to have had prescription pill bottles in his bedroom at the time of his death. Despite that, the autopsy is still unclear as to the cause of his untimely death.

A spokesperson for the L.A. County Coroner’s office said that to determine the cause of death, they need the results from the toxicology tests that were performed. So, basically it could be another month before anyone knows what took Sage’s life ultimately.

The initial reports stated that Sage passed away as the result of a drug overdose. His lawyer, however, said that Sage didn’t show any signs of drug abuse. Despite that, it was said that Sage may have been dead anywhere from three days to an entire week before his body was found by his housekeeper. As we’ve previously noted, Sage did not allow his housekeeper to enter into his bedroom and would not let her even knock on his bedroom door.

Sad. May he rest in peace. Our thoughts are with his parents during this tough time.
