Shia LaBeouf Wears Paper Bag Over His Head To Movie Premiere

Hollywood actor Shia LaBeouf is either a little bit crazy or brilliant, because he showed up at the red carpet premiere of Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac with a bag over his head. That bag, of course, reads “I am not famous anymore”, which they all knew would draw crowds to Shia’s crazy antics. Like moths to a flame, the photographers on the scene snapped away at his spectacle — as we’re sure he knew they would.

Shia LaBeouf didn’t stay long either. A question as to whether the actors were worried about the film’s sex scenes elicited the response: “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much.” He then walked out.

LaBeouf’s line was borrowed from French soccer player Eric Cantona, who baffled reporters with it in the mid-1990s following his suspension for a flying kick on a heckler.

That night, he attended the red carpet premiere with a bag over his head.

Strange, isn’t it? Was he just looking for attention? Or was it more than that? We’re sure that if Shia didn’t want to be famous anymore, he would know exactly the route to take to get to that destination. Just ask Paris Hilton. Ha.
