Ever since Jessica Simpson gave birth to her daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson, she’s been on a mission to lose the extra baby weight. Jessica even noted that she signed a multi-million dollar contract to be the spokesperson for Weight Watchers in an attempt to shed the excess poundage. Now, we’ve learned via “Star” magazine, that Jessica is having trouble in the weight loss department.
The tabloid ran with their “Jessica’s Diet Disaster” title, touting that Jessica can’t stop gaining weight. Even though recently Jessica took to her official Twitter account to let everyone know that the weight loss company wasn’t putting any pressure on her to lose weight. She tweeted, “Just so everyone knows…Weight Watchers hasn’t put ANY pressure on me! I’m trying to be as healthy as I can be for myself and I feel great!”
Despite being at 210 pounds at her highest pregnancy weight, she was said to have lost 30 pounds from giving birth. The tabloid states that Jessica is now at 182 pounds and that her weight loss deal with Weight Watchers is in jeopardy. In addition, the magazine reports that the “Fashion Star” judge told her fiance Eric Johnson, “I can’t get married looking like this!”
On the sidebar of the magazine, it tells the “real story” of why Katie Holmes left Tom Cruise with “details you won’t read anywhere else!”
We’re curious as to why the tabloid didn’t run the TomKat story as its featured story and put Jessica Simpson on the sideline. Are you? Perhaps they didn’t get enough time to have enough exclusive details in it to make it the focal point of their newest issue?
