The Killing Recap For June 9, 2013: Seventeen

THE KILLING continues tonight on AMC with its third episode. On tonight’s episode called “Seventeen”, Sarah has her own reasons to join the task force; Holder finds a new street informant; Seward strokes an old rivalry. Did you watch last week’s premiere double episode? We did and we recapped it here for you.

On last week’s show the third season has an amazing opening and start with Linden no longer being a detective as she needed some time away after Rosie’s murder and finally finding out who killed her; Darren Richmond’s aide Jamie Wright. A teenage prostitute was murdered and Holder thinks it could be the work of a serial killer in Linden’s past, a creepy killer named Ray Seward who is on death row.

On tonight’s show as we see in the promo trailer below, there’s a survey shot of the floating bodies Linden found and that scene, folks, is slightly unappetizing. So, if you thought spoilers make you sick to your stomach, then I suggest you stay away (Oh, who am I kidding, y’all are tough cookies. Watch away!).
Anyway, the bodies lead the team to believe that they’re dealing with a serial killer situation and, form the looks of things, I’d say they’re correct. But, I am expecting a twist of some sort. How about you?

The real question for season 3 is if whether the promise of a new storyline can be enough to keep the series going because as we all know the show was at one point cancelled after season 2; which some say was brought on by fans who were very upset to not find out who Rosie’s murderer was at the end of season 1. What do you think of the new story line so far, does The Killing have you sitting on the edge of your seat like it does to me?

We will be live blogging The Killing Episode 3 beginning tonight at 9PM EST . . . so make sure to come back to this spot and watch the show with us. Make sure to refresh often so you get the most current info!
