Sunday night was an all new episode of the fifth season of HBO’s hit vampire drama “True Blood”, titled “Somebody That I Used To Know”. In case you’ve missed the episode, you can read our fully detailed recap here.

After watching the episode a couple of more times, here we will provide you with more insight as to the happening in Bon Temps. Warning, turn away now if you have yet to watch last night’s episode of “True Blood” as this review contains obvious spoilers.

The Authority:

After their feeding frenzy, the vampires are praising Lilith and plotting to take out the mainstreamers. In a roundtable discussion, Bill suggests that instead of killing them, they should just take out the Tru Blood factories, forcing them to feed on humans. To Eric, he says that he’s evolving.

Jessica/Hoyt/Supernatural Killers:

Jessica was lured in by one of the supernatural killers so that Hoyt could give her the true death with a wooden bullet. Instead, he turns her loose and gets hunted himself.

Sookie/Jason/Fairies:

Sookie and Jason go to the fairy club to see Claude and his many sisters about what happened to their parents. They go to the scene of where their parents were killed and Sookie sees the vampire who went after them. He later reappears to her, telling her that he’s coming for her.

Terry/Patrick/Smoke Monster:

Arlene and Holly want to help Terry get over the smoke monster thing and enlist the help of Lafayette, who is a medium. Lafayette fakes it, but then the seance gets real. He tells Terry that the murdered Iraqi lady wants him to kill Patrick or vice versa and she’ll lift the curse.

Luna/Sam:

Luna skinwalks as Sam when she doesn’t think enough is being done about their shooters. Later, he consoles her and she shifts back into herself and throws up. Is Luna dying just like Tommy did?

Tara/Pam:

Tara and Pam’s maker/progeny bond grows stronger as Pam offers up to her spawn a nasty former high school bully as a “food whore”.

Alcide/J.D./Rikki/Wolf Pack:

Alcide and J.D. fight over the release/hunt of a track star. Alcide forfeits the leadership role, but J.D. wants to hunt the kid anyway. They fight and J.D. bests Alcide only for Martha and the other wolf pack members to intervene. Previous to that, Alcide was training with Rikki when they share some wild animal sex.
